Talkingboy: To avoid stories that touch, why not use a reputable courier service Company like DHL to deliver? Even though it's more expensive, it's safer and faster. Just a suggestion |

Yes to question 1. Use the search button on the top or wait for our data magician; Glitteringstar to help you post the link. @ Glitteringstar; well done. If you use StanbicIBTC, click on my name and then check my posts , I said something about them earlier. For the NOC, you can use 0122 provided it matches your job function. Several bankers have gotten PR with it. Do note that it connotes some kind of managerial/supervisory role, if you are not a team lead or something similar, you may look at NOCs like 6235. DEEAJA: |

I think you are on course, someone has posted here that he/she combined NOCs and it worked. I stand to be corrected though, let others weigh in. Check Merrymum and Damidamsel. Laughs, no wahala my brother. Oya lets give the original poster the list of common mistakes..... 1. check that you have correctly entered the number of hours per week and not per day, we expect you to have like 40 hours per week 2. check that you entered the right kind of degree on the drop down....maybe you entered your Msc as Bsc.... Cannot remember the others right now.....check a few pages back, this happens to people often. Also, recheck your eligibility, I think Glittering star posted a link recently. wealth360: mcstan18: |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by mcstan18(m): 10:22am On Jan 17, 2018 |
Jezme: - Mine took less than 14 business days from the time my transcript was received. This also depends on the processing time and speed of delivery of documents/verification from your institution. In my case, UNN verified a day after WES requested. In my opinion, I think WES has the shortest turnaround time from the time you fulfill all requirements - Yes, you will be notified whenever there's a pending request on your profile 2 Likes |

Hello e-family. Thanks for helping me clarify which job designation I should settle for. I would appreciate if I could get assistance on which NOC this JD as a Compliance Officer goes with: -Ensuring that Compliance requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures; -Pro-address relevant issues concerning compliance in order to keep the approach, tools and skills of the Bank’s Compliance Function up to date; -Identification of risks, areas of improvement (checklists, working papers, processes and procedures etc.), efficiencies and synergies and make appropriate recommendations to Chief Risk/Compliance officer and Management compliance committee. Immediately notify the team lead when unacceptable risk is identified and propose an appropriate solution; -Carrying out investigations or ad hoc reviews at the request of senior management; -Working closely with other control groups such as legal, risk management, audit and business supervisory functions to ensure coverage is comprehensive and consistent and that issues are appropriately addressed on a timely basis; -Collaborate and cooperate with other departments to ensure professional responsibilities are fulfilled in an efficient manner, with due regard for the activities of those departments; -Working with the Compliance testing team and Internal Audit to identify emerging risk areas and recommending ad hoc testing as necessary; -Assist with the issuing of reports concerning Compliance Assignments within the set deadlines. Therefore write parts of the report to an increasing extent independently, according to quality standards of the Compliance Function and within the set time-limits. -Differentiate high risk issues among compliance check findings; -Systematically and logically analyse information; -Develop an understanding of internal controls and related risk relevant for the bank and as a consequence a thorough understanding of the work to be performed; -Maintaining record retention procedures for printed forms. On that same page, you will see a search box at the top, search "come to canada" or simple put, the last draw was 446 points. So use the tool to see how many points you have so far. or share your profile here so one can help you calculate your points. ModestGal: |

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I'll appreciate if someone can help with the NOC for the job description below: 1. Monitor and manage an assigned portfolio of credit assets by making recommendations and assisting head of unit in implementing remedial strategies. 2. Evaluating clients' credit data and financial statements in order to determine the degree of risk involved in restructuring their existing facilities and granting additional facility. 3. Analysing client records and using the data to recommend repayment structure. 4. Evaluating the financial status of clients. 5. Completing credit approval memorandum in respect of restructuring existing facilities and granting new facilities and submitting same to respective credit approval authority and committees for their approval. 6. Conferring with clients to verify their financial/credit transactions. 7. Managing and monitoring of impaired assets with the aim of bringing them back to performing status. 8. Preparing reports about the degree of risk in restructuring existing facilities and granting new credit facilities. I'm kinda tilting towards 6235 but my fear is the lead statement does not exactly describe it but I didn't find any other code as close as 6235. Thanks in advance |

Warm greetings to everyone in here. I will be concluding my graduate program in the United States next year and I am planning to immigrate to Canada with my family who are on F2 Visa. The procedures for the Express Entry program and Comprehensive Ranking System are well understood, as I already know my approximate point( 443- with spouse). My inquiry bothers on being able to use the Retirement Savings Account (Pension) as Proof of Funds(POF). Yes, I understand that answers might have been provided to this similar question before now, but I want to know if one can still use it even if the twenty-five percent benefit had already been applied for and received by the account holder. I have received mine already; so , I want to know if it is still possible to use it as a POF notwithstanding the nonavailability of the twenty-five percent any longer. Again, is there any advantage of being a U.S resident(non-immigrant F1 visa holder) in the whole application process? Also, does having a graduate degree from the United States have any 'influence' in job search? |

Newmum0615: i did mine in Abuja so i wouldn't be able to answer the lagos hospitals parts. For the rest of your questions, below are my answer based on my experience. Eat if you need to eat, unless off course eating would make you feel less comfortable. (Most importantly, relax, relax and relax Toddlers? They would only spend less than 3mins or so with the nurses, No samples taken except physical exams. (Height, weight) For adults: Blood and urine samples are collected in addition to basic test (Eye, BP, weight, Temp, chest X - ray) your E-medicals would show that the following test were performed (don't know if others are done secretly sha) 501: Medical Examination (This would be done for everyone, including toddlers) 502: Chest X - ray Examination 707: HIV test 712: Syphilis hope this answers your questions? #alhamdullilah! 3 Likes 1 Share |

If you were not approving credit transactions as a team lead, supervisor or head of dept, your best bet would be 6235 as you have stated. I understand your concern with the lead statement, it's always a problem especially with credit risk job functions. @happytbaby abeg help us chook eye for this matter. hereandnow65: |

Amakyzuu: Yes. In the spirit of helping one another, I said here some weeks ago that any UNN alumnus who desires to process transcript should get in touch with me. A good number of people here did and within 5 days or less their transcripts got delivered. They are here and can testify to that. Send me a PM if you are also interested. (Please note that this is not a business venture for me, before the moderators think it is and ban me. I'm only trying to assist others the little way I can) Cheers 1 Like 1 Share |
