emmanuelewumi: Nothing strange about it. He was taking a margin loan most likely. He use his N200m to get a margin loan of N200m so invested N600m in the Capital Market with the expectation of 100% returns within a short time thus having N1.2bn. He will now return the N400m with interest and still have his N800m left! The money to be made was attractive so it will be 'stupid' not to put all his all into it. He paid expensive tuition fee! |

Tolktob: How is he different from someone who has 200k and borrowed N400k to invest in the capital market. What do you think is drawing people to the market now expecting 5% gain everyday? Anyway, it is a matter of time before we revisit some posts here. 2 Likes |

Please dear friends, I have some questions on Oando, and seriously needed an answer. When will Oando forensic audit commence?, or has the audit commence already? If yes, how long will it take, i.e, how many weeks or months. If after the audit, the findings indicate administrative wrong doing, please what will be the fate of the current management, and what will be its effect on the Oando share price, north or south movement? These days, I see Oando share market movement, some times on full bid, after a while it will be on fully heavy offer. Who is biding and who is offloading? 1 Like |

Chibuking81: I always suspect Fulani herdsmen at work. Seriously it will take a while for the cloud to clear. Too many intrigues involved. It may well outlive this regime unless there is a return in which case no one is begging again for a re-election. I am somewhat close to one of the big guys involved in what has led to its present circumstance. I may be wrong. |

Chibuking81: Oga Chibu, the coast is dirty for now...and full of manipulations in order to force innocent judgement against the wishes of majority of Oando’s shareholders. Don’t touch for now until everything looks normal. It is a stock to watch but not at the moment. All the best! 1 Like |

Investnow2017: Government should allow this current bull to continue, they should not bring politics in to it. At least, every part of federation are benefiting from the current bull. They should not starve their perceived political opponent of fund, by punishing the companies they have stake in. On Oando, they would have been far better, has it been that they didn't go for ConocoPhillips oil deal. By now, they would have been above #40 per a share. |

I Chibuking81: A retired Sales Representative sold his house( a block of 4 units of 3 bedroom apartment) at Ketu Lagos for N2 million because of tenants wahala, failure to pay rent etc. This happened in 1999, not long when Obasanjo came to power. And used the money to buy more stocks of the company he worked for and just retired from. Nestle was between N19 and N20, in 1999 and 2000. 2 Likes |

currentprice: Funny... CP, I go blow you head knock! You know that some stock do pari passu in terms of price increase/decrease. I believe UBA/ACCESS are currently playing same. Just the same way we had Fidelity/FCMB/Diamond playing their catch up game. The thing about Access Bank is that if "that" seller had held back his/her/their shares for just 2/3 trading days, the shares will be sold at an additional N3.... But seriously needs to offload immediately and never gets done with it. Remember how Diamond Bank shares were offloaded last year. They couldn't get a cross deal partner, they proceeded to float the shares at N1.00 and everything was done within a matter of days. And there was no bull then. Maybe part of what has made it difficult for Access Bank is the fact that no institutional investor with deep pockets is looking their way. I hope there will be fresh news soon that will attract them. Meanwhile we keep watching the stock for another round of cico. |

emmanuelewumi: N2 million would buy 100,000 in 1999. Bonus of 1 for 4 was given in 2003 1 for 4 was given in 2007 1 for 5 was given in 2011. Making the initial 100k units in 1999 to have grown to 187k units in 2018.. With a market value of about N280 million. Did he make a mistake by selling his house? I don't think so. I equally sold an uncompleted property in Ogun state to invest in the market. 5 Likes |

emmanuelewumi: That's good. What if the same man worked in Dunlop company, and invested all the money in Dunlop share? People's stars differs, the good part of it is that, the said man uses the proceed of the sales from his business house, and I know that he didn't sell his residential house. The dividend he has been receiving, replaces the rent he collects from his tenants. That's good idea, and I loved the man's idea, to invest, not because of the bull, but for the purpose of long term, and returns from the investment |
