PFRB:

Yes. The child had no seat belt. This what usually happens. A child at the back and at the center without seat belt will usually fly to the front and heat the wind screen. these are the things that usually happen.
almost 90 percent of Nigerians are guilty of not using seat belt at the back seat u hardly see people use the seat belt at the back

The family of Chief Chijioke Uwah, has been mourning since December 15th 2017 following a serious road accident that killed 13-year-old Chijioke jr, son of Esther Uwah one of his Chijioke’s wives…

The fatal accident happened after the Peoples Democratic Party PDP convention which took place in Abuja, as he set out for Enugu from Abuja with five of his children on 15/12/2017. According to reports, the family left Abuja at the wee hour of 4:00 am and had already passed Lokoja and Anyimgba in Kogi state when suddenly an unguided infant was crossing the highway.

In a bid to avoid hitting the child, the driver (Chijioke Uwah) hit the brake immediately and at the same time turned the steering as the car somersaulted and threw away the son out from the smashed window.

The handsome boy died on the spot whereas other occupants of the vehicle came out unscratched except Chijioke Uwah senior who sustained injuries especially on his head.

The boy will be laid to rest on Wednesday 17th January 2017 at Ebonyi state .

You have said it all.

That's terrible! Some parents can be so careless and stupid to the extent that they never bothered to know the whereabouts of their kids, even some will see those kids at dangerous places but won't care. Imagine what this caused!
In the meantime, Nigerians at times contribute to their own deaths, maybe if the boy had used the seat belt, this might have been prevented. Rest in peace anyway!

So sad. Still can't forget the day I was backing up in a driveway of a sales outlet some where off Lekki-Epe Expway during a visit to Lagos. Thank God I had a look at the closest side mirror, and there was this poor toddler crawling on the floor just by the rear wheels. You won't believe that the mother was just sitting on an embankment to the side of the driveway chatting with another woman. Up till today I am still traumatized by the image of the child by my rear wheels. Thinking what if the worst had happened. It's possible that I would have been lynched right there.. People are generally careless in Nigeria. Parents, ensure your kids are secured with seat belts.

Stupid father, assuming six of them perished now for the sake of one motherless child.

What would have happened?

While law says, you can kill one soul to save two not to talk of more than two souls.
