Thanks. He has been taking formular since 3 months. Just don't know what went wrong. His poo has been firm all d while ftom tom brown intake and not daily. Suddenly yellowish seedlike loose poo with little mucus started about 5 times daily. Thanks for always been there.

same is happening to me too my 9month old ds as refuse to eat too not even pap but i was told he will eat when he stops breastfeeding cos his not even fat. so don't worry he will eat later

Increase your pumping today and see more result tomorrow, it goes on and on.... even if you are dry pumping (no milk coming out), keep pumping often.
Also use breast milk as healing balm for the cracked breast.. Allow the milk to dry on the breasts.

If you have the time,dont try to force the child.try finger foods,like banana becos the child may like to eat on her own.keep an area clean,sit on the child's level and eat your meals,making faces as how delicious the food is,the child may begin to pick interest.little by little and increase quantity with time.fruits like banana,apple,try different foods till you get what the child likes.Time the feedings,not letting her get so hungry.when babies are very hungry.they may be too tired to feed on solids or angry.wanting only BM.

This is d situation we are in now its 5 days already and am confused. He used malaria drugs on thursday and tge frequent poo started, was initially thinking d leonart caused it but after d completion of the medication it still continued. Was told to get cefu* yesterdsy an antibiotics, but pooed 3 times ovetnight. Am just confused, had to tell his caregiver to up her neatness but still d same and it seems to me like his milk also causes it cos once he takes any cereal with milk d poo will be immediate yellowish watery with seeds like new born and little mucous. Did u stop milk when yours was on?

Mama, calm down. Don’t get depressed over nothing. The solid you give them now is just for practice until they are one year or have you seen any student in the university that is still taking formula or breastfeeding.
We have to be patient with them and gradually we achieve our result. From what you wrote here, your baby is fine. Just take it jejely.

All babies mustn’t be fat. A healthy child is more paramount. Some babies will eat heaven and earth and still be alika while some will be fat and not healthy.
Come let’s reason together. What quantity of food do you offer that makes him vomit? Reduce it. It is better you give 3 spoons every 2 hours and it stays than 10 spoons that ends in vomit. If you make your child get scared of food, you’ll also be miserable during feeding time. Start little and gradually increase the quantity. If they feel are not forcing it, they’ll relax and you keep increasing it.
My friend told me how she used cheese balls to get her baby to start eating. Keep offering your baby different food in different textures. Something will definitely click. My son just turned 6 months. The first day I gave him cereal, he rejected it but collected rice from his dad. I observed he likes thick food he can chew on, so I made his cereal thick with lumps and he almost finished the whole thing today. There’s no rule it’s just trial and error.
Offer what you are eating except salty food and honey and also allow him to explore the food. My son started taking milo and bournvita at 7years. Sing, dance, offer him to feed you, trick him and give him a spoon while you use another one to feed him.

And if you know you weren’t fat as a baby and you were very tough to get fed, take heart, be patient and pray maybe your village people have decided to pay you back.

Don’t forget to wear patient like clothes. Sometimes they need more time to develop in this aspect than others. If he keeps vomiting even if it’s a spoon, don’t forget to have your paed check him out.

@ imurboss, I saw where you wrote that you are using well woman. I don’t know your reasons but it may affect your breastmilk supply if you are breastfeeding. Why don’t you look for pregnacare for breastfeeding moms to take.
My reason is this, well woman is used to balance hormones. A breastfeeding mother’ hormones are not balanced. That’s why it serves as a contraceptive for people like us.
If you continue taking it and another one enters, don’t say you don’t know what happened oo.
I may be wrong though but read the leaflet of that well woman.

really?? powder?? wow I'm hearing this for the first time...I didn't use powder or any baby lotion on my baby until the cord fell off... after the cord fell off I ditched coconut oil ( I wasn't enjoying the coco it smell) for baby care products which included powder, the advice I got was to be carefully not to allow it enter baby's nose to avoid catarrh and cough...
