Dear Nairalander Travelers,

Please I just want you people to help us, if we are dealing with a REAL or FAKE Agent

My Big Bro is about Traveling out to SPAIN for Visitation, and the Agent in charge of the Visa is Demanding a huge sum of N1.3M.
Is that not too much.

Please house help: Does that amount good to go or my Bro should look for another Agent

You don't need an agent!

Getting the visa needs you to go to their website to find out the requirements for the type of visa you want and apply, and then make sure you meet whatever the requirements are.

I got a business travel visa from there last month and if I remember correctly I think the fee was around 33K. Add to that the mandatory cost of travel insurance which is dependent on the intended duration of stay - the two week travel insurance I bought cost less than 10K.

So all in all it cost less than 50K. If you/your brother is ready to pay N1.3m you can contact me for assistance - I'll give you 50% off that charge and ask for 650K only tongue

See attached for further information and a list of required documents.

1forall just made it clear to you that your brother does not need an agent to get a visa.

First, visit their website as he rightly said to find out the requirements your brother needs. He even stated the Visa fee and gave you additional info on Travel Insurance.

You don't need an agent.

It's not too much as long as he (the agent) will pay the visa fees, airline ticket, and hotel accommodation.

Such agent should be sent to prison and fed to wild pigs.

Thats daylight robbery right infront of a maximum prison.

You can use a quarter of the money to get yourself a visa and still have enough money to send him to jail.

Anyone who wants to go to Spain on a holiday and return to Nigeria would never use an agent. Schengen visa fee is €60, travel insurance costs about 10,000 naira. The total cost of applying for a Schengen visa is not up to 100,000 naira so why would someone who wants to visit Spain or anywhere for two or three weeks and return to Nigeria pay any agent even 300,000 naira? Whenever I hear anyone is using an agent I conclude immediately that the person intends to secure a visitors visa as a means to run away from Nigeria.

I applied for a Spanish Business Visa on 27th December, 2017 and I obtained my Visa on January 18, 2017. No prior Europe or America travel history. I have only travelled to a couple of African countries and the UAE. I paid a total of N32,600 for Visa Fees and BLS Service charge. I used my company's Travel Insurance policy. I submitted my application at The Spain Visa Application Center at

SELINA HOUSE
4 IDOWU MARTINS STREET,
OFF ADEOLA ODEKU STREET,
VICTRIA ISLAND LAGOS

Documents submitted are as below:

Letter of Invitation from my company hosting the meeting in Spain
Letter of Introduction from my company
Self Introduction Letter
Travel Insurance Policy Document
Schengen Visa Application Form
6 months Bank account statement
Bank Reference letter
salary payslip
employment letter
Flight Reservation
Hotel Reservation

I am glad they granted me the Visa. Thanks to nairalanders who have been of indirect assistance via helpful comments.

how many days insurance did you book? since you have the visa already I think you should try and contact the person in Spain for the work documents but I don't think you can work without having a resident permit.

alternatively you can use Turkish airline for your flight booking and you can enter turkey on your way back from Spain I know you can easily get residence over there.
