A CHAN team that hardly plays together still won a complete league side and you think the coach of the losing side is better? Look at it rationally na. Kog45: Today, one small club called Appiah tiger something something in Australia beat Japanese league all stars 7:3. I hope you know the janaese league all stars is equivalent to our CHAN eagles? So what do you say about that? |

I can't help myself but laugh out. Faleye is now the song on everyone's lip. Thanks to his goal today. I personally, won't be flattered with any of these boys performances. I will remain cautious and conservative about our home based players. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw some posters ranking the new boy ahead of Musa and Moses Simon. We forget things so easily. In 2014, A certain Ejike Uzoenyi was the star boy of that CHAN team. Everyone was singing his name calling for his inclusion all because of his exploit in the CHAN tournament. Alas, as luck will have it, he got called and made the SQUAD to brazil on the shoulder of Elderson's injury. We all saw how things paned out at the football biggest stage. Of a truth talents abound in the local league but they remain what they are-TALENTS. Since we don't have both the human and physical resources to polish and refine these talents yet, I say we wait till they are exported abroad for refining before we make use of them. I'll implore both the fans, media, the board to thread cautiously with the home based lads. No need to force the best player than the throat of the coaching crew which unfortunately(sorry to use this word) Salisu Yusuf is among. A single slot can be the difference @ the mundial-no room for wastage. No need to put the cart ahead of the horse. They'll have their time too in the nearest future. Let the boys have a good outing, get them exposed and if possible sign deals outside the shore of Africa where they'll get to refine them into the jewelries we will all love to admire and adore. Then we can begin to consider them for post 2018-World Cup Super Eagles. O pari! (In Icon79 voice) Finito(in TheGoodJoe's voice) |

These two guys you speak for were so glad when my mother was insulted on this same thread. I know. Reactions here tell the story. And here you are speaking of brotherhood... With who? Those negative lots? They had it coming... I cannot be brothers with mediocritic mindsets. So please... Stay on your lane. You are even lucky I had the time to reply you. I am just in "Faleye mood" today... fabyom: |

Listen Sir Mujtahida... I have a simple proposition since you are good friends with Mickael... (We can work out Komekn's later possibly or not... He will likely listen to you if he doesn't still see your opinion as lacking substance.... Lol...) Tell him to desist from his negative approach towards Iheanacho. Advise him to learn how to be balanced on issues concerning that young man coz I can see that he lives and breathes on this thread only to discuss Nacho since Mikel is now beyond his grasp. Mikel was actually his first target when he walked in here but so far dude cannot go there anymore... Mikel is so vital to this team. He silently ate his words on that but have never said how wrong he was to have uttered that rubbish he said about Mikel being irrelevant to the team. Now he picks on Nacho... Lolll... Your friend has a huge psychological problem Mujtahida. I can help him but his pride won't let him... So talk to him... And yes I know the great man you speak of.... Same man also had to fight and win a damn war. He didn't think of charity in that instance Mon Ami. He just had a bloody war to win and drive out negatives and chaos that could tear down the American people. I stand for justice and the right treatment of our Nigerian players. Enough of this negative balderdash. And I have learnt that when people keep silent in the face of negativity, then they have only allowed negativity to win. Sometimes silence is betrayal. TheSuperNerd:TheSuperNerd kindly go back to your posts from new year day till before the bust up on Iheanacho. You were expansive. Don't fold up now, don't Bro. We are family here ooo, we are. Beyond our respective viewpoints our humanity stands foremost. I have often repeated this point to komekn telling him to remember as he criticizes that Iheanacho is a human being. You too, remember the humanity of komekn and Mickael2. I implore you 1 Like |

safarigirl: See, I'm not trying to sound sexist or a spoilsport and I wish all our players success both on the pitch and in their relationships. But, are you sure it might not distort their concentration and full devotion to training, game prep etc? Just stating an observation. Please correct and give instances if you think otherwise Thanks |

Ohhhh now they are humans too? When they consistently went around doing what they do to Iheanacho... I guess it is because Iheanacho is not human? They bring out lies and more lies... They twist things to make themselves the victim... Just so as to win the licence to keep saying things as they want without care or caution... Is that what you call humans? Humans with no regards for yet another human. The way Komekn lies about Osimhen's situation from time to time also irritates. The way Mickael2 never sees anything good in Nacho no matter the improvement shown... He even saw nothing good in Mikel. What wound it profit a man to lie or refuse to acknowledge the good in another? Except the person is a sore loser in life. Mujtahida: 2 Likes |

darkelf:generally, I think of women as a distraction in the lives of men ....especially women that don't have a solid position in the man's life. I mean, if NFF want to bring their mothers I'm all for it, wives, okay, that would be nice too, but girlfriends? Was just joking around with the Ndidi stuff, though his girlfriend is very important to him if you follow his snaps during international breaks. Besides, would such a policy be fair to the players that are single to stupor? |

TheSuperNerd:First there's no injustice here, truly none such that we start attacking ourselves here which is the point elyte89 made so delicately. Now on Mickael2: I do not think there's anything psychologically wrong with him and I dare say if anyone insinuates such about you, you won't like it. You see I don't agree with his views most times but I appreciate what he's doing. You know why? Well in my previous office I used to do what Mickael2 is doing here:whenever we had a case I was always playing the devil's advocate, looking at and pointing out the flaws in our own case. I was doing this just so we could tidy up and strengthen our case against our adversaries. My Principal was a man that always believed in his client's case and would push it vigorously(and very effectively too) he loved what I was doing but one time he accused me of being negative. So please it's nothing to do with having a psychological problem. The thing however (and this is my caution to Mickael2) with playing devil's advocate for long is that after some time one forgets he's an advocate, one becomes the devil(I am speaking metaphorically). So currently in my professional life I'm trying to quit playing the devil's advocate all the time. So yes, Mickael2 it would be good if you give praise where it is earned and criticize too when necessary. Sometimes even when you praise I feel uncomfortable with it because I have gotten used to you being ever the critic. But should you feel like continuing troubleshooting, then we are still family, all of us. The reason I flow with Joebie is that he was balanced. I wish everyone was like that but then it would make this thread a boring monochrome of similar opinions. This negativity adds some zing to this thread though it's bitter to our tastes. Let's have the sunshine people. Let's have the midnight people. Both of them makes the day. After reading Mickael2 dark views, I hunger for your own counter point of sunlight. Makes the thread interesting but I'd still say to Mickael2 don't get stuck in the dark. As for komekn I am discovering that beneath his gentleman posture is a steely stubbornness. Komekn hard |

Mujtahida: I swear you have time. Do you know why nairaland is called a faceless forum? Because people claim to be what they are not. He has shown a total lack of psychological understanding, he has failed to understand that people set their bar at their own level. There is a reason why Pele or Maradona would never believe that Messi is the best, because they believe they have done better. I don't need to come and start shouting that I had distinctions in BCH, Anat, Pathology, Medicine and surgery before a proper psychologist understands that I don't celebrate minor things because they don't come off as any achievement to me. I would probably challenge him to present his medical certificate or license but then he wouldn't be able to. If I were to ask him what is the two-finger job he probably wouldn't know so what's the point. Just let it go and we move on. |
