I tried registering a domain from Godaddy closeout which auction is suppose to end in next 6hours I have supplied payment details but I did not receive notification if payment was successful. I tried to retry but the website says "domain is no longer available at auction" does it mean I have successfully acquired the name, or the domain has been bought by someone else.

guys, I just tire like wetin. I hand registered 4 domains on web4africa. com, but for three days now now, I'm still getting pending on all the domains i registred. I don't know what to anymore, my investors have been calling nonstop and I am starting to look like a scammer. note they don't respond to my mails.

No live chat support? next time, use popular international registrars and save yourself and business from such inconvenieces.

Domain auction is actually not the best form to sell your domain, in fact it is the least likely means of getting your name sell higher with exception of few names...
In auction, it is best to assume you won't sell your name except you put a reserve on the name..
Personally I feel auction is good if you register the name, i.e you don't buy from fellow domainers and couple with the fact that we are Nigerians so any $ is a plus...
I learnt this from one of domain guru here chibense, he said if you want to be expert, you sell even for the price you bought at times, I have sold many domain for $1 domain I registered with over 3k....

Auction in a nutshell is what yoruba call "GBANJO,"
