Jesus didn't ask any of his disciples to open a new religion wen he dies.

Jesus never told anyone to sell their properties m give him the money...grin.

It was the apostles that used scare tactics to make their gullible members sell their property like Annanias did.

Just like idiotic Christians do today.
OK you're not a Christian so no need engaging you.

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes: but the Lord weighs the spirit. Proverbs 16:2. KJV

The apostle coordinated the sharing amongst the people not for church building, or personal use, not for their own vision but 100% for people's needs

eph12:

In Acts 5 when they sold their properties, they brought the money and gave it to the apostles, not their parents or the poor

He may be crazy and all but he backs up this statement with the bible.

Look at the message to answer uti's question. So spot on.

Fast to condemn pastors and tithings but quiet on the rampaging going on in the country.
If you earn ten thousand a month, giving God one thousand won't stop you from assisting your parents financially wen the need arises

Mr Man, Does God tell u he needs our money? Abi he tell u he dey hungry
Did he also reveal to u that our riches are in heaven and the pastors riches are here on earth?
Daddy Freeze making noise on Fulani killing when the noise you and I has made yield no fruit....
Brother..... I have never pay tithe in my life and God has been wonderful to me and my family......
Believe me, our money or tithe does not guarantee us heaven...

My take.

Please ignore them. How many of their daddy GOs condemned Fulani herdsman? Beside, what has this discussion got to do with Fulanis, it is their usual mischievous diversionary tactics....

Some of them can't feed properly, they are so foolish that they would give the little crumbs they have to their GOs who never knew how they feed in their miserable lives. It is only in the developing world that this nonsense makes sense because their brain is also developing....

Please don't moan at me oo! Just hold on tight to your chain.

PrecisionFx:

Daddy freeze didn't open his mouth to condemn the fulani herdsmen for the killings that they have done......

Seriously, Are u unable to use ur brain to reason

This is a simple "sturv"....give you money to whoever you want while I give mine to whoever I want too....even if you decide to give olosho...you'll still be right in your own way.....no war.

What happened in acts was communal living. People bring their riches together, then share it equally among themselves. Feeding, clothing, housing needs etc. Not for church building, pastors welfare, pastors jet . The wealth is 100% to share among people equally. No one has more than the other. Your pastor cannot have a bigger share than you out of church money, now that was what happened in acts. So pls stop comparing church business of today to communal living of Acts.

When Annanias sold his properties and gave to the apostles, what scare tactics did Paul use for that to happen

i love this guy always backing it up with a verse in the bible while the pastors do not have any verse to counter his claims

Look at the insults and curses a supposed Christian is spewing on a Sunday morning. I'm sure you'll still carry that mouth to shout hallelujah in church.

Jesus Christ must really be proud of you.

What i don't understand is why they're condemning Freeze. Are they following the example of Jesus by that? Instead of cursing Freeze, why can't these luxury-loving GOs pray to their god to rewire Freeze's brain so that he will join them in collecting tithe on behalf of god and spending it on behalf of god.

How many of them knows that? They always believe In their Pastors Prayers.... They never realize they also possess the calling.....

Na so one they tell their congregation to worship their pastor.....

This thing has become boring ...The moment that Freeze didn't open his mouth to condemn the Fulanis attacks I knew his agenda might not be pure at all.

How many of your Pastors condemned the fulani herdsmen attacks?

Do you remember how they were quick to respond when the FG wanted to impose a term limit on their leadership? Now that herdsmen are killing their members, they're all deaf and dumb.

Some of the herdsmen are Christians too. They are also paying tithes.... It will be wrong for pastors to condemn their members you know LOL

I'm not in support of what some pastors do concerning giving.

That said I'll like to see that chapter or verse in the Bible that says it as you have said now.

Hope you also know people were not forced or asked to bring all they have so it can be shared equally among themselves as you have stated here? It was free giving.

Many are careful not to heat the polity or cause violence. Nigerians only hear go, so any message understood wrongly can cause loss of lives and properties. They can only plead with the government to do more to secure lives and properties of Nigerians.

Keep fabricating excuses

When the FRC wanted to enforce the regulations, they didn't plead with the government o, they took the government head on till the government backed down.

My friend, people have grown wiser than all these ridiculous excuses.

Forget the Bible. Only a fool will honor his pastor without doing 10x better to his parents.

I read a thread where a nairalander was thanking God for securing a job then one fool posted "Don't forget your first fruit" undecided

As if the pastor gave a fück about him when he was Jobless. As if the pastor fed him and gave him cash when he was searching for job all around Lagos.

Your daddy GO was giving me words of encouragement whenever I am depressed about lack of income?

Your daddy GO was the one waking up in the middle of the night to pray for me?

Your daddy GO paid my school fees for 4 years?

Many Nigerians will not succeed because they worship men not God.

What do you mean by "Belongs to God"?

The money you give to your pastors is spent by God?

The same money your pastors use to by cars and secure tickets to spend holidays in Dubai?

The same money your pastors use to buy 4m Gucci shoes meanwhile your mother doesn't have a single cloth worth 50k in her wardrobe?

The myopic you don't know the ONLY THING God needs from humans is our worship and dedication.

I hate to break this to you...but your parent deserve a better child than you. smiley
I owe you a cold bear o....
Do you know many people can't give their parents meaningful thing in a month, but are so happy to throw cash to their pastors (they will say they are appreciating him) and they forget the struggles of their parents since they were born.

U are also Nacking them girls, Can we now call u the minister of the devil

Thats the link below, when he meets people who understand scriptures, he runs away. As par Nacking of girls, not everyone lives like freezes who believes that sleeping with your girlfriend is not a sin.

I dont subscribe to that type of lifestyle

I have argued this Tithing thing as far back as my secondary school days, if you are the one that seek for knowledge, read and understand, you will know that tithing is fraudulent, there's no where the Bible told Christians to pay tithe to Men of God. Funny thing is that non of the BABALAWO PASTORS have been able to come out with scriptures to back up their claim since this argument started, some even resort to curses and name calling, which makes it even suspicious.

Tithing is criminal!
