In the first place, what are cattle colonies? So that we understand what you want us to oppose.

My Yoruba people don't allow cattle colony in your state ooo...because in 50yrs time they will want to install emir...they have more land mass in the north so why will government want to forcefully collect land from others to hand down to the Fulani.......southerners if you allow cattle colony you must surely regret in future

You are smart man and I swear you know all what cattle colony is about even more than Audu Ogbe , you know it has no pros just cons but instead you choose to deploy your God given intelligence in the defence of nonsense people and their cunning agendas... Remember to who recieves a talent fair and proper use is expected God and you shall be judged accordingl.. My fear is not regular zombies who will whither immediately funding is cut but men like you who are misvieviously using your intelligence for deliberate mischief .

Why exactly are you against cattle colonies? Ladipo is a spare part colony in Lagos, Alaba is an electronics colony in Lagos as well. So, what's so bad in having a colony to rear cattle? Going forward, how should we solve the herdsmen vs farmers crisis considering that cattle rearing is a profitable business that sustains our fellow countrymen, the Fulani's?

Maclatunji is right. Explain comprehensively the meaning of cattle colony and why it is such a bad idea that must be opposed. You can't just be campaigning against a policy without explaining to your listeners the evils inherent in the policy. Put up your argument and let us discuss it and if possible, reach a common ground.

Please do explain what is it you are talking about, I have no clue.

Cattle colony is a diary products SUPPLY and SHOPPING center.
It is like a plaza where you buy all kinds of diary products



It is not a ground to rear cattle, you rear your cattle in a ranch

really, history? So cattle trespassing on another man's land (farm) is what you're advocating?

This is a simple case, any man who wants to rear cattle should look for a place and rear them. Not take them on a long destructive killing expedition. After all, pigs, chickens, goats and other animals are kept in a farm, no?

What is a cattle colony?

That’s like coming to a location, setting aside some land for guys who own cattle, telling them to bring all their cows (as well as their brothers, uncles, friends and father own too) to your land to chew up your grass and live and raise their calves and make milk for fura du nunu etc and ultimately find buyers for their old adult cows in the local market

With the cows come the humans who tend to and train them (also known as herders) who can be maybe one man to tend to 10 cows at most so a herd of hundred cows mice have at least 10 herdsmen coming along with them to your land to relax too. If the uncles and friends and father brings a total of 500 cows you can be sure of above 50 herdsmen coming to your set aside land to settle along with your cows

Cows are animals who are controlled by humans

Humans are controlled by authority (union) so expect the herders to form unions in your set aside territory to govern and control their affairs internally

Humans are creatures that usually breed vices so expect some good and bad outcomes from these new settlers in the no distant future

Herdsmen are mostly uneducated, carry arms and voodoo charms. So be prepared to face stiff resistance when they feel threatened

Cows sometimes wander out of their set aside location into local farmlands and urban areas around your set aside location and these armed herdsmen will follow their merchandise closely and protect them fiercely if need be

Once the cows have finished eating all the juicy grass on your set aside location they will not return home to the north, no. They will move further inland and expand their boundaries to suit the changing greenery in their location.

Well, from here on we can deduce what would happen next can’t we?

So there you have it... that’s my ‘layman’s’ view of what we teen CATTLE COLONY in this our shithole called country today
