Did you reset your device after updating and has your battery been calibrated afterwards too? Temperature, usage patterns, netw stability, new app(s) installed? Any of these could affect your battery.

I didn't reset my device nor did I calibrate my battery. I think the temperature could be an issue too coz it always gets hot on mild to slightly heavy usage. Maybe I should try factory reset?

You may do a system reset, but endeavour to calibrate your bat3 by using it till it gets to 0 (off automatically), then leave it off and charge till it gets to 100%. Tweak your battery settings to notify you when it gets to certain temp (settings > battery > power > gear icon at the top right > set battery drain notification ON if off) .

Callibrating it could prove to be suicidal Saying electricity is epileptic here is an understatement. We haven't received power supply in two days. Sometimes 3-4 days straight.Even my landlady won't allow gen usage. I think factory reset would be my best bet here. What do you think, sir?
