Good morning mummies. Abeg pardon my silly question. When babies begin to go out normally (from 3 months), is it OK to enter market with them? Will all the different smells and noisy market environment affect them in any way? Cos they're used to the quiet, clean air environment at home. Please no look the question, just answer me. Na ftm cause am grin

Me Don enter market o. There was nobody to drop him with at home and I needed to go to market. So I backed him thank God he slept throughout. I just covered him with a flannel.

Mamas please come to my aid. My DS is 15 months old so I started weaning him yesterday. My breasts are engorged and the pain is excruciating ooooo I have taken PCM but its still there what else can I do
This is what helped me..i squeeze out some BM to escape engorgement, massage with warm water, then apply rob and wear iron bra.
Note: this is not cold turkey method
Today is the 7th day post weaning and no engorgement or excruciating pain whatsoever

I would soon go into this process by God grace.
Please how’s the weaning going. Is your child still coming to suck or LO left it him/her self?

See the opposite of Spiceaimee and Goodfortun o.
No just fall hand and cry before one week o cheesy

Hehehe...Na real opposite oh. Don't mind pipu beyedew. This is how I do mine based on advice from mamas here and my own jara. I express milk and store in the avent storage cups; (pic below) then I pack two /three feeding bottles for formula with milk stored in the baby plus dispenser (pic below). I close by 2pm and usually home by 3 so he rarely finishes the formula servings before I return. I put the feeding bottles in this regular warmer (pic below) which doesn't warm nada btw angry Then I include 1 small nestle water and flask of hot water. Don't usually give water more than a feeding bottle cap full and that's like once a week (is that bad??)He's never constipated. He poops like once a day very regularly.

For the mommas dealing with rashes and skin peeling we also had the same. We maintained olive oil and also did agnesia powder for a few days after which it all cleared. I think the peeling is constant for some babies, shedding old skin. Nothing to be worried bout.

Now on my creche ish. We are still not going to creche oh. My family friend who is a SAHM with 2kids under 5 who are in school has graciously agreed to care for him while I'm at work. We'll do that till he's a bit bigger maybe 7 months then move to creche.

Thanks for all the input mommas I truly appreciate.

Well, I always wonder the same but then again how about all these women that sell pepper or even grind pepper, who bring their tiny babies to market...

I've never carried my daughter to market cos I spend a lot of time doing waka waka and I consider the hot sun.
Seriously, I wouldn't even bother if I had someone to leave her with, but no one, sad

Grinding pepper, dust, vehicle exhaust etc. Chai, na wa o angry

I carry my little one with a carrier whenever we are going out on foot that way I can see who is touching him or what he is trying to grab or touch. I carry wipes to clean him immediately after anyone touches him or he touched something.
Abi? Thanks o, na better idea

Babies react differently. The few times I entered the market with my ds, I strapped him to my back with his hands inside so he doesn't go stretching his hands to touch anyone.
I also buy from the nearest seller and avoid going upandan to get good bargains.
just make sure your baby is well fed before going to avoid cry cry and all the women begging you to stop and breastfeed your baby.
I try to avoid it cos I'm not too comfortable with the idea.
Me that can like to waka waka. sad That breastsucking thing ehn, make God just help me sha, cos my baby can like to fall hand ehn sad
She's a big foodie and wouldn't mind eating every 30 minutes as long as she's not sleeping.

I thought of covering on my back cos of the dirty air, but this one that she can sweat ehn, I jus tire. Ordinary backing her at home for her to sleep and she will be sweating seriously. I would have to stand under fan till I'm ready to put her down. Just imagining how covering her will be. Chai
