you're bless for this...I really believe henceforth after the expiration of alloy agu contract...foreign goal keepers trainers and coaches should be hired instead...
many of this indigenous goalie coaches are ridden wit sentiments...in their selections.

I believe right there in the league..there is someone who can fit the vacuum of a reliable and trusted super eagles goal keeper...

I have said this before bro. Word

It's very annoying because their sentiments affect player selection and performanc

Has Enyeama ever failed to perform in the GWG?

About his long term injury, did he not play a professional match last month? You know some GKs who are second or third choice do not even get to play for 2-3months straight, just ask Ospina but he is still the first choice for Colombia. Gks pick up form easily, just some training sessions and a few practice matches so long as they train weekly

Enyeama stopped playing for the Eagles altogether. Then he picked up a long term injury. There is no way to access his level now.

Even when Mikel was not playing, he was appearing for Nigeria regularly.

I am sorry but you lost me somewhere. You said there is no means of accessing him right now and I am wondering, this recent game that he featured in isn't it enough? Or until his game is aired on NTA before we can access him?

Onazi played 80 minutes, did not complete 1 successful tackle but had a 85% pass percentage. Not a great performance. In fairness, he did not play as a DM.
We might end up with Ndidi -Mikel Agu combo for our mid-field.We also have Joel Obi.

the one with the U-18 team? grin

Is it no on this thread that I read that it is not enough for Musa to be playing in Leicester's U23 and he would need playing time with the senior team to be considered for World Cup?

Do the standards differ depending on the player?

I dunno you are thinking thesame way... Just need to quickly check the table before today's match... Only two teams have two wins...

Check the table... Long star with 7pts
Imagining Enyimba in Relegation Zone.... I doubt there's any thing called win-Unbeaten run again in NPFL. I'm happy for one thing, the club logos and online organization is beginning to make sense.

Mikel Agu? The few times he played for us, didn't really strike me as a better choice. I prefer ogu to him.

Joe Obi should pray luck shines on him so he can be picked for some of the friendlies.

Bro...Seriously.

Not trying to impugn on your principles but favour over hardwork and merit.

The God I know doesn't work like that
. That's why it's called 'unmerited'. U don't need to work for it. Even if you do,u won't consider it as 'hardwork'. It might sound crazy but it happens. I think you need to know GOD better before you assume on what he can and can't do. There's a part of the bible where He said 'I'll have mercy on who I'll have mercy'( something like that). Let me ask you this:What did we ever have to do to deserve His undying and everlasting love for us even in our sinful ways? I'm pretty sure nothing. That's called Grace,it's called Favour or u can also call it 'unmerited'. U don't need to work for everything you want to get and even though that might sound odd and crazy. It's the truth. See as you don turn me to pastor, abeg oo make we switch back to soccer. Na SE thread we dey.

depending on the position. Just because you are playing U18 does not mean you won't have to save shots, it doesn't mean you won't face corners and stuff.

Yeah aspa color, but that idea of writing the club name at the jersey centre looks off to me. Sunshine stars and MFM jerseys home and away, are the best to me.

Still early in the season. Wait till week 15, everything go arrange itself. Strength, power, and unfamiliarity still helping some of the "not so good clubs for now".

enyeama say he has retired from international football, even if he starts playing now, the nff will to constitute a committee that will head to France to beg him to reside his decision which I don't think anyone is ready to do that except maybe you want to volunteer. ospina you talked about did not retire from playing for Columbia, he was still part of the team.

Enyeama did not train for months due to injury.. How do you know, he is at the level he once was??

Ospina might have been on the bench but he has not had that kind of break.

A young lad came in as a sub for Southampton named Michael Obafemi..Commentators mentioned him as an Irish international. He even missed a sitter. But his name gave him up as a Nigerian probably he has dual citizenship..He is a centre forward.

Obafemi is fast strong and technically astute, what I find surprising is that it's taken this long for him to get into the team properly.

I have watched him for about 4 years and really felt by now he should have moved on. However, the politics of preference by Koeman and one other Director let's say restricted his chances.

It's sad that Ireland beat us too him, I don't know of he is still eligible for the SE but a good prospect he definitely is.
