Obafemi is fast strong and technically astute, what I find surprising is that it's taken this long for him to get into the team properly.

I have watched him for about 4 years and really felt by now he should have moved on. However, the politics of preference by Koeman and one other Director let's say restricted his chances.

It's sad that Ireland beat us too him, I don't know of he is still eligible for the SE but a good prospect he definitely is.

He has only played for Irish under 19. He is just 17. He is still eligible for Nigeria.

Could remember how you are making deportivo teamB look like a primary school team cos uzoho keep for the team..
You even doubt his clean sheet self...

Enyeama is enjoying with his wife... Lemme him alone

depending on the position. Just because you are playing U18 does not mean you won't have to save shots, it doesn't mean you won't face corners and stuff.

17 year old... very pacy... one to keep a close eye on.

I think I got the names mixed up or I got it wrong.

Theere was a boy I had been seeing at Southampton if Nigerian origin he should be closer to 21 not 17. So I may have inadvertently given wrong information. But he had a Yoruba origin name so I assumed it was the same person.

Yeah aspa color, but that idea of writing the club name at the jersey centre looks off to me. Sunshine stars and MFM jerseys home and away, are the best to me.

Nigeria clubs side have been doing that for ages... When they don't have sponsors Nko? They will kuku put their name their .

Some clubs with sponsors have their sponsors boldly written in front of their Jersey.

Don't be surprised if Uzoho takes over as starter for his club very soon. A last week the club's number 1 made a costly blunder and today they get hammered 7-1. The coach might at least take him out of the firing line and give Francis a chance.
I just watched the highlight of their 7-1 whooping by Madrid. This deportivo goal keeper is a basket. The earlier they start using uzoho the better for them.

I say we let him rest. He has played his part. It's not like he won us the world cup when he was in his prime anyway.

Forget the fact that i want uzoho in the first team, 2 or 3 goals that keeper concealed were purely goal keeper's fault. grin

I hear Rohr is sending trainers to help our goalkeepers.

What I don't understand is, who will be responsible for paying them? The NFF? Rohr? The player? The player's club?

This arrangement is kinda strange to me.

If deportivo don't start playing uzoho, they might not escape relegation. Let the coach be waiting for uzoho to become a professor in Spanish first grin

Obviously biased, I watched the same game and non of the goals conceded was the fault of the goal keeper.

Goal keeping is not the reason they are where they are sir. The team is simply not good enough. Like Uzoho will take charge then suddenly send them to the top abi?

I am sure you know why Rufai came back in 1998. At least I posted the video here of the Baruwa incident that led to his recall. We had no better option then.

Carl Ikeme's illness has left us with goalkeepers that are not WC first choice goalkeepers. And we have found ourselves in that similar situation as 98 again.

i started watching football since the early 90's and i follow the super eagles stories , but if you ask me , i will suggest that we should let Enyeama be , if we can feed our fear with Faith . and start believing in the young goal keepers we have . i could rememember that Enyeama was given A Chance against England when we were playing a formality match ... the Beckham save brought him into lime light . let try someone else , MAYBE A MESSI SAVE WILL BRING WILL SHOW CASE THEM. i m just tired of this Enyeama story ,nobody is indispensable

I think there might be an immediate change because conceding 7 goals no be beans. At least to give the guy a break.

which English age grade team did Dele Alli play for?

Well, as long as neither of them has won a World Cup or even an Euro for their respective National teams, I think they have also missed out. It's a two-way loss, maybe Alaba would have won an AFCON medal

OK continue.

Wow. I did not know Rohr handled the selection of the CHAN team.

there is no doubt we played and conquered Africa's Finests enroute our qualification. But comparing the quality of these Africa sides with what we're likely to face is DELUSIONAL.

I wonder how underrating the strength of the African sides and our team means I am comparing both sides to have similar strength.

The point is simple. Our team is not as mediocre as many think. There should be no confusion in such a simple point.

Common SG don't be sentimental, imagine how strong the super eagles would if Alaba was the one playing the left back position, Dele Alli as the attacking midfielder, Iwobi dazzling run at the left wing, Moses causing havoc at the right wing, while iheanacho does is thing as the central forward.

In as much as they might not have won anything with their current team, no one can deny how much stronger they would have made out team become if we had gotyen through to them when they were a little younger.
