quote author=Newmum0615 post=64413896]If your Canadian degree was obtained in Canada and not via distance learning (if you spent more than half the time outside Canada while studying), then you don't need an ECA in the first place. Your CRS score of 453 is ok for an ITA if you took into consideration that you don't need an ECA for your Canadian degree when calculating your scores. And no, your husband does not need to write IELTS or evaluate his degree except you wanna do it for the fun of it grin Was your work experience in Canada?

[/quote]Thanks for the response,my masters was full time 2 years degree and I was presently in Canada. For work experience, it was my two years work experience I had before coming to Canada.I just wanted to get know I anyone has had a similar case

Have you not read a case here that someone made a payment on behalf of another and it nearly jeopardized the guys efforts.

After helping him make the payment, the guy collected the naira equivalent and contacted credit card guys that it was a fraudulent transaction and requested to reverse it. He got back his money and WES contacted the applicant to raise money order as the only means of payment within a strict deadline or face grave consequences.

How are we even sure you're not an accomplice? Screenshot of chats is no proof? It can be doctored bro.

Hahahaha this is some wickedness. Lmao. cheesy

It reminds me of my single days in the obodo oyibo some years ago, a guy out of town will be toasting a babe, and she agrees to go visit the bobo. He'll book the flight ticket and send her the itinerary. Babes will be happy and excited and start falling in love and sending pics. Travel day arrives, babe gets to the airport to board plane, the flight people will just jejely tell her the plane ticket is invalid. She calls the bros on phone, and he'll tell her he doesn't know who tha heck she is. Babe is utterly embarassed and carries her kaya home. Those were the days lol grin

I'm sorry but I won't put it down. He told u he used his Nigerian number for whats app, whereas he said to me he doesn't do Whatsapp. No be the same Whatsapp everything be? And why doesn't he even have a single post on this thread?

A word is enough for the wise.

Lamzee:

Please I will advise you to put this down with the following reasons:
1. He sent a Pm to me also cos I needed someone to help me pay for application fee, he told me he used his Nigeria number for whatsapp and he sent his BBM ID,he told him I don't use BBM anymore so I can't continue the transaction anymore
2. To cut the story, I told him to verify my name on facebook (which I did not ask for his), then ask for my payment details and helped me to pay, I sent his money to him immediately I verified the payment . I can post our chats and the screenshot of my payment

When your report is ready you will get both soft and hard copy.

DadR:
Morning Guys,

Please does anyone know how I can get a soft copy of ECA from IQAS without requesting for a duplicate certificate which attracts charges?

I had contacted them through the contact form but no feedback.

Thanks

Both were actually delivered to someone in Canada but can't reach the person at the moment. So I need to get a soft copy from IQAS.

Thanks

Hello great people. I did IELTS on the 6th of January. The results came out and I had a score fair enough to put me on a CRS 432. The issue now is that NASU is on strike which means that I can't assess my transcript. I am worried that I will miss out on a favorable draw as I am yet to 'dive into the pool'. What should I do apart from praying that this strike ends already?

Nothing you can do apart from 'wait and pray' Alot of people are caught in the middle of this NASU saga.

It wont be long don't worry as Unilag is pulling out small small(I am currently studying there for my masters and we got a message that lectures will commence this week) other schools will soon wake up.

The answer is 22nd July 1985. That twenty-second you wrote has passed two words. Don't over think the answers, coz if you do, you'll not get it right.

My advice is when you do your practice tests, identify the sections you fail mostly, for me it was the matching section. So I figured I'll just write out everything the audio was saying in my question paper, then when I had 10 mins to transfer my answers...I read through what I had written and took my time to match it with the questions.
My point is you need a strategy to beat your weak point.
For T/F/NG the easiest way to understand it is:
Truth is the statement is in the passage
False is the statement is in the passage but not as the question. E.g. The passage says "the shirts are all white and long sleeves". The question is "all the shirts are short sleeved and white". This is false....
Not Given is when the statement cannot be found in the passage. Using the e.g above, Not Given is "the red and blue shirts are also long sleeves". This is not in passage so it's not given. But can be mistaken as False.

Like I said before IELTS na just trick test. But you shall overcome. grin
Thanks a lot for the tips.

Hello,

I understand how you feel and i'm sorry you had this experience.

1.For listening i wrote all my answers in CAPS too and i had 8.5 so that is not the problem
2. I did that too.
3. I just wrote 'July 1985' I think the instruction was 'one word and/or a number' some people said it was '2 words and a number' and they wrote 22nd July 1985 but to me '22nd' is also a number(dunno sha) so that would have been 2 numbers at least.

The reading was very tricky i remember feeling like i was going to fail it, I couldn't even predict my score after the test.

I don't even know what advise to give you. But i know if you take your time again, practice again and Please PRAY!!!! you will do well, cos its not an IQ test. The most intelligent doctor i know is rewriting it also, so please don't beat yourself up about it. E dey happen. All the best.
Thanks

Its advisable to only evaluate the highest qualification if its just BSc and Msc/MBA. If you evaluate the two you will only get point for one certificate.

Thanks Senior smiley

Top of the day to everyone. I have a peculiar question that needs your answers please.

My mother in-law is a US citizen and she had previously filed a green card application for my husband and siblings under the "unmarried children of US citizens" category. While this application was awaiting approval, hubby and I got married and when they finally invited him and his siblings to make a formal application and attend an interview, he stated that he was now married on his forms. So while his siblings got invited for an interview and subsequently received immigrant visas, his own was stepped down to go back into the "pool" under the "Married children of US citizens" category.

My question now is: While filling out the Schedule A form, I indicated that hubby has a previous UK visa refusal, ticked yes under the applicable section and also gave details of the refusal however, do I need to also provide details of the green card application as i explained above? Is it necessary? It wasn't really a refusal, just stepped down to be reconsidered under a new category.

Kindly help so that they dont say I misrepresented information. Thanks.

The post Mummytutu quoted and said was wrong is in fact correct, you can’t be married and claim single – that was what Mcstan18 responded to saying it’s misrepresentation. Sleekchic noted this but guess you mixed the posts.

If you check his other response you’re talking about, He is very much correct. The other poster said you can claim point as a single applicant by selecting married but spouse not accompanying. Please read the post very well and then check his response. The poster however corrected the intent of that particular post in his response. Clear the words were not put rightly in the first post.

Sure Mcstan18 can defend himself though.

Actually used an agent way back 2016 for the ECA, so both hard and soft copy were delivered to the agent. The person can't be reached at the moment. So am looking for ways to get a soft copy from IQAS. I had mailed them quoting candidate's name and reference no but no feedback from them.
