Àgbà kìí wà l’ójà k’órí omo tuntun wó

Did you see the ad on page 25 of Punch newspapers today? If you didn't, you need to.

Yorubas are calling for Restructuring before 2019 elections or they would leave the Federation.
Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB were saying the same thing for past few years.

Glad SW intellectuals are gradually standing up and please check the number of Professors, Doctors, Architects, SANs, Pastors etc that signed the advert.

Restructuring is a sin at the moment in a country called Nigeria.

Joblessness at its peak. If they had a shred of integrity they would have approached their representatives to introduce areas of restructuring but once again they assume Nigeria is a dictatorship where the president can just order reatructure and it is. The sort of unseriousness is money wasted on an advert.

That's why it'll take Nigeria decades of years to achieve anything as we only speak up on media and not using the right tools to fight for what we do not want!!!

You must hardly use your thinking faculty if you think it isn't joblessness that would push grown men to advertising restructuring instead of approaching their representatives to push such an agenda or do they think their advert will scared the populace into submission? Gerrarahere if you are not interested in reasoning.

It is just unseriousness and job hunting they are after how would restructuring occur just because you wasted money that would have served a better used in advertising? They have representation they refuse to approach them, they expect the president to change Nigeria by decree. Even if PMB conveys a national conference, it will just end up in cupboard because there is need to engage the National Assembly which will make such resolutions law.

Frankly speaking, most of them don't know a thing about how the constitution work and why we have the constitution...

Restructuring can only take place when the NASS consent to it....Buhari is a president and can't do the works of the House!

I am surprised by this list.

Many of those on the list are very successful people who have no previous history of commenting publicly on socio-political issues.

For them to choose to put their names to a list like this means a lot.

Everyone is getting fed up with the country.

Yoruba elders shouldn't follow the route of Igbos.....
It's a road that leads to nowhere...
Lack of strategic thinking was the bane of nnamdi kanu and his IPOB group....
The names I see there are educated personality who command great respect in the country....
Let them approach the Yoruba representatives in both house of assembly n deliver these message to them....
Yoruba people wants regional restructuring.....
Now let these representatives consistently raise it on the floor of the house....
Then the rest of us can back suport them and mount the pressure on the presidency....
The truth remain neither buhari nor the northerners can stop restructuring if we the southerners sincerely demands for it....
Waiting for buhari or sultan to call for restructuring is futile...
Nobody will do your job for u....
What I see is that southern politicians are not keen on restructuring and only pay lip service to the call....
Moreover, we southerners are also not interested in this change.....
because if we do, we will only send politicians interested in immediate restructuring of this nation to Abuja....
And if they fail to deliver the promise, we vote them out.....
I wonder what's so difficult about that....

For how long will you keep tasting people to get a good president, by voting them out?

Restructuring is the way out...

Like you have stated crystally, We have so much lip work than actions from our politicians....
