RuggedArab:I will make it easy for you, ICES accepts e-mail transcript directly from school - WES does not (that will save you some courier fee ''to'' but you pay ''from'' ICES Turn around time is faster (Around 3 weeks after school sends the e-mail)WES You are at the mercy of your school to respond to reconfirmstion ICES So far you quote your reference number, they will always respond to you inquiry - WES Not sure about them but there are complaints in this regard. ICES Does not reconfirm transcripts from schools - WES Reconfirms transcripts from schools (you no what that means if you went to a village school that you cant get to in a jiffy). ICES Does not send ECA by e-mail upon completion (only through courier) - WES Sends ECA through courier 4 Likes 1 Share |

Hello,am a bit clueless about PNPs. But the bolded got my attention. Is the $1,500 paid for Ontario PNP different from the Visa fee you have to pay after PPR? Was thinking about that PNP if the draws fail to drop to the 430s but that would imply paying close to $3,000 if one is to go through PNP. dannio: |

Only1babadee: @HAPPYTBABY, only1babadee, Thank you very much for the responses. I will focus on myself and the baby for now. However, I may still marry the mother in the future. The important thing now is to secure the future of the child because he is one of the major reasons i'm into this canny hustle. POF is not a joke. We shall all get there, may be at different times. 2 Likes |

Canadianfly: Thank you very much for seeking clarification. I made it clear that we only did mini nikhai and there is no evidence whatsoever for our union be it islamic or legal certificate. It is a decision that is well understood between us. Like I also said in my previous post, I may still marry her even before travelling. What is important to both of us is the future of the baby. Hope this helps. Kind regards 3 Likes |

Please I'm back again My fellow lawyers, when completing the profile, there is a question about 'which date did you first become qualified to practice this profession' . Do I use the date I received my university degree (which is what I have an ECA from IQAS for, or do I use Law school call to bar date? Thanks |

It has been stated before but i just want to reinforce this for Lawyers..please don't shy away from using IQAS. The IQAS processing time of 12 weeks is just an estimate and doesnt take that long. I got my ECA yesterday and my application was sent via courier on 20/10/2017 IQAS acknowledged receipt on 30/11/2017 (12 weeks count starts from this date) I got anxious after seeing @Ethelia post and sent them a mail on 12/1/2018 (Thank you for that @Ethelia) ECA received on 22/1/2018 (Approx 7 weeks after) That professional degree assessment is worth it o Time to prepare for IELTS It will all end in praise for us all 7 Likes |

You can send someone on your behalf to get your results for you by Wednesday. Just write a letter of authorization and a copy of your passport data-page and give to the person. BC will hand over the results to the person. Like someone has suggested, you can also formulate the TRF yourself if you want. naijaismyown: |
