The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Dr. Victor Oye has taken a swipe at the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo over his advice that President Muhammadu Buhari should not contest the 2019 election.

Oye said Obasanjo was not in the best position to advise Buhari.

“Obasanjo’s opinion and Nigerian’s opinions differ. People might have different opinion. What we need now in Nigeria is for us to remove unnecessary tension.

“Even if Buhari is not going to run in 2019, we shouldn’t create unnecessary tension because the man himself knows what to do and he doesn’t need Obasanjo’s letter to take such decision,” Oye stated.

According to the APGA Chairman, “It is Buhari’s entitlement to run for second term, but if he is saying he cannot run, he knows what to do.”

“When Obasanjo was president what did he do? Was he a wonderful leader? Did he tar road in South-east? Enugu to Port-Hacourt road he didn’t do it. Okigwe to Oga he didn’t do it, and so on, and he busy talking about Nepotism. Obasanjo does not have moral justification to say such a thing.”

Buhari that gods have forsaken is the one APGA and Onaheze want to die for. Another political miscalculation by my brothers just for imaginary 2023 presidency.

OBJ said his own, Dr. Victor Oye, why not say your own? No be fight now. You plus OBJ and PMB, all of una be polithiefcians and can't be trusted.

The last person that refused to listen to OBJ is back in Otuoeke. It remain to be seen if Buhari will retire to Daura if he doesn't yield to his advice. Truly speaking, PMB should retire as he has nothing to offer.

If you don't want Buhari, Contest or Vote against him

But don't beg him not to run..don't ask him not to exercise his fundamental human right..

This is democracy.... The number matters! if you have the numbers defeat him at the polls...

They have started again..

Same way they turned GEJ against OBJ is what they want to do now.

Later some nitwits will be running around blaming Yorubas, whereas their greedy leaders are drumming support day and night for the Buhari they hate.

The dynamics of 2015, is entirely different from 2019...The main players, the ethnic card, the religious card, and other inanities that the PDP tried to use to stop Buhari in 2015, are firmly with Buhari now and will be deployed in full force as we approach 2015...

They know it...hence they are begging him not to Contest.... But hey This Is Nigerian President, we are talking about...the matter must end at the polls..

OBJ was a good president. For the record, his regime
gave us GSM, introduced, I EFCC and ICPC, he fought corruption better than all his successor till date, he quenched Ketu, Hausa vs Yoruba cash without body language that suggest he took side with Yorubas. Don't forget the Agulere vs Umulere crisis, or Jos Plateau and Kano killings., amount he was bold. OBJ gave better appointment to Igbos than his kinsmen - at least the Igbos didn't cry marginalization like they are doing under PMB. Strategic security office were shared across the country.
The accumulated debt that were hidering budget performance were not blamed on previous regime, they were paid unlike like the new song we hear everyday from Lai Mohammed, it is GEJ that did not this, or that did not...

Under OBJ, minimum wage was reviewed and primary school teacher up country were able to buy car and build houses.
You are talking about OBJ not building road? If you will collect, I under military rule, I Abdulkareem Adisa said it will require word bank loan to dualize Ibadan - Ilorin road, OBJ, did without borrowing a dime(although not completed),, Abuja - Lokoja wS started and another major road in the SE zone were started by him. Projects the military made us to believe Nigeria has no money to execute.
Can you remember how pensioners use to suffer? OBJ introduce PRA act 2004 to stop pension dilema, yet PMB allowed Maina and his nepotic team to be protected and escape after looting pension money.

I understand you are doing your job and I salute your resilience and tenacity because defending Buhari is probably the hardest job to do right now even Lie Mohammed has gone mute.

Back to 2019, inasmuch as PMB will likely contest, what happened to Jonathan might surely happen to him. Same way Jonathan was sent packing, Buhari might also be shown the exit but your PMB isn't a gentleman. Jonathan was by accepting defeat but I doubt PMB can accept such.

My verdict is this, Atiku, though corrupt and PMB isn't a saint too, might put up a real challenge but even if he wins, the ruling party will rig, so we are going to have to put up with PMB for another 4years. Besides who says our votes will count? I wish it won't happen this way.

As an ardent supporter of PMB till date, please kindly yield to Baba OBJ'S advice for service to this nation & humanity. PMB is a disciplined man with integrity, but tired I think because of age. We are developing so fast because of technology. We don't want Atiku either. Thank you.

PMB be careful of the people around you. How can the 5% suddenly be drumming support for you, they are always after their belly. What they can gain from you & after that, they would leave you in the cold. Truth is bitter!

Lousy politicians that live for the moment and their pockets
.
OBJ spoke the mind of alot of Nigerians with sense and feelings

OBJ just admitted what the BMCs and now running Zombies won't admit that the change wasn't what they thought it was and the level of leadership was faulty and false.

Don't trust those ones that speak for PMB right now as they don't hold your interest in their hearts.

All PMB wanted he now has, which is to be the PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA again and he achieved messing up the economy the second time so please identify those speaking for him and run from the situation as it's now critical.

So sad!

Dear friends, there's a very important piece of history I'll like to share with you which concerns you.

On December 1, 1955, a middle-aged "negro woman" in America, Mrs. Rosa Parks, refused to stand up for a young white man who just entered the segregated bus she was ridding in. If she did, she would have had to stand all through the journey.

At that time, the bus is segregated in most parts of America: white people sit in front rows and black people sit from the back. Blacks would normally pay fare to the driver in the front, then step out of the bus and go through the back door to find a place in an already tight area at the back. If the allocated spaces for blacks are filled, all other blacks joining the bus would have to stand even when the more than half of the bus spaces reserved for whites are empty! Such was the injustice and humiliation that black Americans faced then.

For refusing to stand up for the young white man, Mrs Rosa Parks was immediately arrested, scheduled for prosecution on Monday December 5. Then the Rev. Martins Luther King and his NAACP comrades stepped in. They called out the people. They spoke about the sad realities of their existence, the terror of an unjust system and barbaric treatments in the hands of fellow Americans.

In addition to speaking out, these Black Americans decided to take action to protest that injustice by boycotting the segregated buses. The boycott began December 6, 1955.

Dear friends, here is the crux of the matter: Black Americans took action! For 1 year and 16 days, *they trekked to and from work or boarded improvised pooled taxes, everyday*, until the US supreme courts declared segregation unconstitutional!

During the struggle, someone offered one tired black woman a lift in his pool car, but she declined, saying, *"l ain't trekking for myself, but for my children and grandchildren "*!

So, dear friends, whenever we don’t take action and we feel unobligated, unconcerned,* we should simply remember the black Americans and those women. Without them, the freedom that US enjoys today wouldn't have happened, or happened too late.
Obama may not have become the President of US.

So, the questions before all of us now are: Are we slaves to the Fulani people? Are you ready to trek for yourself and your generation yet unborn as the black Americans did? Are we willing to do our own little bits for the cause of good governance and security of our people? Are we ready to act? If today, it is Benue, Kaduna, Taraba, Enugu, etc, which state or community is next? We have complained and grumbled enough. Now is the time to take action.

Dear friends, there's a general consensus that with effect from February 2018, there should be a total boycott of Fulani cow meat, including suya, kanda (skin), etc. We should discipline our appetite and make this sacrifice now to put an end to the killing of farmers because of cows.

We can get protein from chicken, goat meat, fish, pork, etc. How can we continue to patronise their business and then they turn around to kill our people and destroy our communities? Enough is enough.

Pls spread this information to people around you. Thank you. God bless.

The only way out of this mess is to use our Ako n' Uche. Every one has an interest, but until we identify an interest that is selfless and progressive we will remain in the same spot. Democracy begins from the primaries, let's try not just to look, but see and learn, use references from history and lessons from other regions and evolve solutions that will solve our problems and not one that is borrowed. I support a heated debate from those interested in leading us with an audience that is fearless in asking questions that would cause minds to think and work. That way, we get to have an insight into their thought process and the participants also get to sharpen their minds for the tasks ahead and understand better the myriads of issues they have to tackle. thank you and God bless.
