Obj was advised to adopt Mandela style and not to contest for 2nd term in 2003, but he did not only contested, but he sought to continue for the third term even after exhausting his constitutional two terms of 8 years. All this hogwash and regrouping of political elites has nothing to do with patriotism, it's just a tussle to wrestle power. Democracy is about choice, asking someone not to contest is undemocratic.
