But i thought the cut-off mark was shifted to 45. Why was someone who had 44 included. You guys should just put the cut-off at 40. Less than 100people qualifing out of over 400 candidates is really not a good percentage.

The organisers should just give it some thoughts.

Thanks.

So I made the list with my 44% grin God is wonderful!

you know that's not even close to your score angry

Be warned! you would be disqualified if you keep making statements (whether jokingly or not) that negatively affects the reputation of this competition.

na only God know where una get all those time consuming questions from. I would wish to know tho, for practice purpose. Congrats to those who qualified. And Kudos to the sponsors of the scholarship

I swear, those questions were time consuming and Impossible to answer all correctly in 30minutes, I felt bad when I finished with 48%.

I frankly support this, I scored 44% and lost hope afterwards. Honestly, the mathematical aspects are just put in to fail some people(myself not excluded).

I perfectly understand the reasons for lowering the cut off to 45% but 40% can still avail many people the opportunity to still fight for this.

And even if it get lowered, UI exams might not avail me opportunity to take the test.

@toxicbrain I cool you grin

If at all the score should be lowered. It is either you peg it at 50 percent or 40 per cent.

Here is the reason, in any grading system in the world 40 to 49 is considered as ''pass'' while 50 is average.

To be fair to everyone. It's either you peg the cut off mark at 40 or 50. Putting it at 45 is not justifiable.

45%, only 67 persons. I doff my heart to the organizers men. The test was quite a standard.
Just happy for the second chance sha even if my low score may jeopardize stage 2 smiley

@mods, Richiez,Odunharry and Xfire

Since you said that we can make suggestions regarding the competition, I formally appeal that the mathematics questions be reduced or even removed in the "Stage-2". This is because I observed(after taking the Stage 1 test) that the mathematics questions consumed too much time and it probably isn't fair to those who aren't studying or haven't studied(at O'level) maths related sciences.

I appeal that the questions be more general IQ/Aptitude related for Stage-2. Apart from the maths,the test was excellent,though very engaging. I hope you consider my suggestion.

Thank You.

I say no to that
mathematics is the only reason I scaled through
and that gives standard to the test
