With TWRP you'll have to download the full Recovery ROM to update your device.

But to update through OTA, you will have to flash REDWOLF RECOVERY on your device. REDWOLF is more advanced with better options than TWRP.
Be sure to download REDWOLF 3.0.23... that's the most stable version for now.

Why rushing to update? Wait for feedbacks. But if you still want to proceed, update then later change back to Nigeria

Redmi 5 plus is not as big as many of us thought. The phone is few inches taller than rn4... They increased the screen to body ratio thereby maintaining almost the same size with rn4. If placed side by side with rn4 u will surely take the r5plus. Its sleek, very beautiful and can fit into the pocket perfectly. It has a good battery life almost at par with rn4. Waiting to port to global stable rom when it becomes available.

Bad guy, why not port to Chinese developer rom first? I doubt you will consider Global stable rom after trying it out.

You'll need to order for it from AliExpress, both screen and digitiser, then give to a technician to replace. Should take within 3 weeks to deliver and costs less than 10k both to buy and fix it.
