Quick Question: Why Do Pmb's Supporters Always Use The Word ''Robust Economy?'' by Axelrod(m): 1:51pm On Jan 26, 2018 |
From my personal observation, I have come to the conclusion that the most used phrase by the President Muhammadu Buhari's supporters is A robust economy. Daily on the programme, Sunrise Daily by Channels TV, whenever members of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, are brought on to the show, they keep repeating the words; ''The President is putting everything in place to ensure a ROBUST ECONOMY''. Or, ''the president has ensured that everything is in place for a ROBUST ECONOMY''. Or, ''Nigerians can tell how the President took us away from recession and handed us a ROBUST ECONOMY''. His online supporters are not left out. You can easily find the combination in Sarrki, NgeneUkwenu, Usba, yarimo, Omenkalives, Mynd44's comments here on Nairaland and other members of his ''Supporters' Club''. The combination of the words; ROBUST and ECONOMY seems to be the creed of the government and its supporters. My question is: do we really have a robust economy? Are they trying to appeal to psyche by infusing the phrase? What do you say? |

"Robust economy" is just abstract. They can't place their hands on any physical, worthwhile or tangible achievement, so they give us bullcrap about the economy. But what they fail to know is that if indeed the economy is robust, it'd be felt in every other aspect of the state life. 1 Like |

HeyCorleone: Exactly! Just like that meme of Lai Mohammed that says the President is doing lots of projects but that the projects are too big for Nigerians to see. I don't know if he actually made the statement! 2 Likes |

[s] Axelrod:[/s] You wasted your time showing everyone you don't comprehend whatever information is being passed. In the same op of yours you wrote .... They say PMB is putting everything in place to ensure a robust economy... Yet you ended up asking do we have a robust economy night if we did have a robust economy why would he be putting in place measures that will guarantee a robust economy? |
