Congrats to the gals for thrashing SA 6-0

Was supposed to be at the stadium to watch that game this evening but other things came up.

From their previous games I have watched, those girls are good.

They beat Tanzania 9-0 and then SA 8-0.

Another generation of quality female players has emerged.
Can't wait to see them in France later this year.

Onigbinde shift go one corner make we see road fes.

Iheanacho's goals today means our build up to the WC is very much on track.

Kudos to Ndidi as well.

Good to know that Success made the bench today.

that old man can be annoying sometimes...he said same thing when rohr was appointed.....

and one old veteran called onigbinde has already called the nff a failure for hiring a foreign coach for the super f alcons.

Not trying to sound disrespectful to the old man, but I've found some of his prepositions of late nonsensical.

don't mind them...after they have failed to do the right thing..they turn to advisers when they're no more in office....

few Africa coaches are ambitous....and will place honours, achievements over person gratification.

Chima Okoroji?? cheesy Wow... First time I heard of him was when he was training with Bayern youth. Alaba once spoke of him or so... I think. Speaking from passive memory but I think it is the same Okoroji.

Clubs and the coaches themselves should be in charge of personal improvement not the NFF.

Well, it could still happen before the 31st. I think he needs to play regularly to get him in the best shape for the WC.

The only good thing worthy of note I feel he has done was his involvement in football development in The Gambia.

We overrated him when he was made coach in 2002.

I still remember that his response on why he didn't shout out instructions to his players at the 2002 WC: "I have already told them what to do when they get to the pitch".

Forget that man.

But I would really love to see our Ex-internationals like Siasia, Eguaveon, Finidi hustle for UEFA coaching badge, so we can see what they are capable of out there, just like we've seen the late (Keshi, Amodu) and now oliseh and Amuneke of recent.

So is it the NFF that will train them on how to secure that UEFA coaching badge?

I no follow for onigbinde yarn o. Lolzz

The coaches should be the ones responsible for educating their selves now. Which was why I said they should hustle.

Wasn't it Siasia who went for a coaching course before the last Olympics?

I'm so happy this evening because; 1. Falcons have a new foreign coach 2. Falconets have qualified for France 2018 3. Kelechi Iheanacho & Wilfred Ndidi scored today for Leceister city 4. Amaju Pinnick is making us happy with his new NFF reforms & philosophy

I really feel for south Africa football..
They seem to have all the facilities and resources at their disposal but very little talent...

I do follow their FA social media pages and man, they are taking their football very serious... Their women team have been up and doing all month. they even played a friendly with Sweden last week... their u-17 are training hard too...

But in the end(maybe when they face Nigeria grin grin) no result!

Perhaps the reason dem dey beef Nigerians for their land and dey kill them grin grin

I quite agree with you Chief. That south African team we beat are actually very good. Really surprised we reached 6-0 sef. I was expecting a win but not 6-0. Mehn...the girls really went into another gear today oooo. Rasheedat is the next biggest star from Nigerian women football but that IMO and Ijamilusi look like really special talents too.

lf you watch the highlight of their 5-1 victory against Morocco, especially that 3rd goal, you would see that some of the girls have raw talent aside Ajibade, and the team work is amazing.
l also read they recently thrashed Edo Queens 7-0 in preparation for the game against SA.

I saw their first game against Tanzania live at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin.

Rashidat, Ijamilusi and a girl that wore number 7 were just too good.

Imo(hope I am not mistaking her identity) is a big striker but not really so smart or sharp. I hope she doesn't battle weight problems too soon.

Overall a good team. I expect Omidiji to be drafted in now since they have qualified. I am not suggesting an automatic shirt but the coaches need to give her a fair chance just like they did for Courtney Dike.
