Same with Albrighton when he came in too.

The perfect sub would have been Gray for Chilwell not Nacho.

I say make I no talk everythin wey my eye dey see. Na im make me no talk about Albrighton. I am not sold on that dude as a winger. He is plain useless. Apologies to those who feel otherwise, but to me he is just another overly overhyped player i the leicester setup. Maybe cos he is English or maybe cos he has risen to a cult hero status in there. I wouldnt know. His final balls are atrocious (in GoodJoe's voice).

I like that striker that promises goals even outside the eighteen yards box, they are my typical striker bkus they have huge predatory instinct hence make keepers shiver whenever they have the ball on their feet, every movement of theirs' make some keepers (such as Akpeyi, almunia etc) wet their underwears prematurely out of fear. That's what KC is turning out to be. I'm impressed. U don't have to be inside the box before u can score.

Ndidi has a strong left foot oo, who else saw that first shot and the second (the goal) also?

Exactly!

To the extent someone asked me. 'Is Ndidi left footed?'

IHEANACHO CAN BE THE FUTURE OF LEICESTER CITY – CLAUDE PUEL
By Shina Oludare

The Nigeria international got a brace on Saturday’s FA Cup, and his manager is predicting big things in the future
Kelechi Iheanacho can be the future of Leicester City, according to his manager Claude Puel.

Iheanacho put in an impressive display performance as his brace deflated Peterborough United 5-1 in Saturday’s FA Cup game.

His good form with the Foxes was also felt with his brace against Fleetwood Town in the third round.

And his boss who is pleased with the ‘good mix’ between experienced and young players sees the former Manchester City forward doing great things with the King Power Stadium outfit in future – while reserving special praise for debutant Fousseni Diabate.

CLAUDE: “There was a good mix between experienced players and young players today, they showed good understanding between them. I hope that young players like Barnes, Iheanacho and Diabate can be the future of Leicester City.” #PetLei 3:39 PM - Jan 27, 2018 2 22 148 Leicester City
@LCFC

“Important to start well, with intensity and quality. We did that and went on to score some very good goals. Important for the squad that we could perform well today,” Puel said after the game.
“There was a good mix between experienced players and young
players today, they showed good understanding between them.
“I hope that young players like Barnes, Iheanacho and Diabate can be the future of Leicester City.

“We knew it would be tough away against a good team like Peterborough, but our attitude was excellent from the start and the goals were a good reward for the players.

“I don’t think many people knew about Diabaté, but he showed a lot of promise today. I hope he can improve and grow as a player with Leicester.”

Ndidi Onyinye completed the rout two minutes into stoppage time – his first of the season, rendering Andrew Hughes’ 58th-minute effort a mere consolation.

Agent Of Musa : Leicester City Striker Will Join CSKA Moscow Next Week

Tony Harris, the agent that handles the affairs of Ahmed Musa, is confident that CSKA Moscow will wrap up a deal for his client next week.

Having said that, the Russian transfer window remains open until February 22, 2018, meaning the Muscovites have less than four weeks to complete the signing of the Nigeria international despite the fact the English transfer window closes at the end of this month.

Musa was not in Leicester City's 18-man squad vs Peterborough United in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday afternoon, fueling speculation that his proposed move to Russia is still in the offing.
''Most likely, the transfer will take place next week,'' Tony Harris told Sport Express Russia.

In the current season, Musa has made only one appearance for Leicester City's first team, a League Cup tie against Sheffield United, in which he scored as the Premier League side claimed a 4-1 win.

The 25-year-old spent four years at CSKA Moscow, scoring 54 goals (29 assists) in 168 games.

Rosenborg Plan To Gift Captain Of Nigeria U17 Ogbu Professional Contract As Birthday Gift

The Sporting Director of Norwegian giants Rosenborg has hinted that the captain of 2017 Nigeria U17 team Igho Ogbu would be handed a professional contract once he turns 18 years.
Ogbu will be 18 years old next month, and according to

Rosenborg director Stig Inge Bjornebye , the Nigerian will most likely return back to the team on his birthday.
While confirming that the 17 year old who trained with the team in August is yet to pen a contract with the club, he also hinted that he will however do so once he gets to the professional age of 18.
Ogbu impressed the technical crew of the Norwegian giants during the time he spent with the team last year, and it is widely believed he has done enough to earn a contract.
He was captain of the Nigerian U17 team of 2017 that failed to qualify for the defence of the crown Nigeria won three years ago at the World stage in Chile.

Last season he also turned out for Nigeria Professional Football League side Gombe United, although his stay with the relegated side was interrupted due to his trip to Norway, where he trained with Rosenborg.

England Legend Michael Owen Criticises Iheanacho For Scoring Instead Of Passing To A Teammate

Legendary England international striker Michael Owen provoked an argument in the studio during the live coverage of Leicester City 5-1 win over Peterborough United, after criticising Kelechi
Iheanacho for scoring instead of passing to a teammate in space.

Iheanacho scored a brace in the game but his first goal, which came in the 12th minutes of the game angered Owen who felt the Nigerian should have passed to his teammate who was clear on goal.

Owen lashed out at the Nigerian for not passing the ball but his co analyst Robbie savage disagreed with him, saying it doesn’t matter since the Nigerian scored.

The argument ended with Owen insisting that four out of five times, the Nigerian could have missed the chance to score even though he eventually scored, despite the efforts made by Savage to change his impression.

Owngoalnigeria.com's Michael James who witnessed the argument live on television captures the exchange below.

Leicester City Ahmed Musa Completes Loan Move To CSKA Moscow After Passing Medicals

Ahmed Musa's unhappy times at Leicester City has been halted temporarily after the 25 year old secured a loan move to his former side CSKA Moscow.

Musa had his medicals few hours ago ahead of the move, and it is now official that he will spend the next six months with the Russian side after passing his medicals.

The Nigerian joined Leicester City 18 months ago from the Russian side, but he has struggled to get game time since his move, particularly this season as he is yet to make a single appearance in the league.

His move which will be made official before the end of today as part of his efforts to win a spot in the Nigerian team to the World Cup, as coach Gernot Rohr has repeatedly said only players who are active with their club sides will be considered for selection for the World Cup.

A favourite of coach Rohr, Musa is also widely loved by fans of CSKA Moscow due to his performance during his four and half year stay at the club, helping them to three league titles.

EXCLUSIVE: Nigerian Breweries, NFF Seal Super Eagles Sponsorship Deal
By Mumini Alao

Nigerian Breweries Plc have reached an agreement with the Nigeria Football Federation to become the official sponsor of the Super Eagles, Completesportsnigeria.com has been exclusively informed.

A source privy to the deal told CSN that the partnership agreement was sealed recently with the announcement set to be made soon.

The NFF have lately attracted a lot of corporate goodwill on the back of the Super Eagles’ qualification for the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup, with the likes of Coca-Cola, Payporte and WAPIC signing long-term sponsorship agreements with the governing body.

The NB Plc deal, CSN learnt, represents the drinks giants’ foray into national team football after their heavy involvement with European club football and the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The bottlers of Star Lager, Gulder and Heineken currently have big money partnership deals with Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus as well as Star being the official beer of the NPFL.

The Super Eagles deal, according to CSN sources, is to provide balance in the company’s activities and to key in into international football which unifies the Nigerian public.

Although details of the deal are kept under wraps, CSN was told that NB Plc did not hesitate in meeting the NFF’S valuation and an agreement was quickly reached.

The NFF have been active since the Super Eagles’ World Cup qualification, securing high-profile warm-up friendlies for the team against England, Poland, Czech Republic, Serbia and Congo.

The Super Eagles will face Croatia, Iceland and familiar foes Argentina in Group D of the World Cup in Russia.

Salisu, Ezenwa: Home Eagles Under Pressure To Beat “Tricky” Angola
By Adeboye Amosu

Home-based Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf says he expects a tough test against Angola in Sunday’s quater-final clash at the African Nations Championship (CHAN), reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The Home Eagles are favourites going into the contest after emerging first in Group C with two wins and a draw.

Angola on the other hand finished second in Group D and are yet to score from open play in the competition. Their only goal of the competition came from the spot in their 1-0 win against Cameroon.

The Palancas Negras are however yet to concede a goal in the competition and are difficult to break down.

“In football, you have to be suspicious on the pitch, especially at the knockout stage. You have to be careful on the field and that’s what I have asked my players,” Salisu stated in his pre-match press conference on Saturday.

“We will play to win. Our goal remains the same, to go farthest in the competition. It will not be easy for us against a tricky Angola team. They are a team that generally adopts a defensive strategy and operates on the counter attacks.

“They have a very solid defence. There is some pressure on us because the ministry and even the federation want a positive result from us. There is also the expectation of Nigerians and the players are aware.

“After our first match against Rwanda, we worked a lot. It allowed us to qualify to the quarter-finals by topping our group and stay in Tangier, a city we have acclimatized well.”
Captain of the Ikechukwu Ezenwa also had some kind words about the Angolan team but is upbeat the Eagles will scale through the hurdle.

“We have found that their (Angola) strong point is their defence. We will press them and especially be quick and quick on the ground to counter them. There are concerns about some injured players, but we will handle the situation,” he stated.

THE NIGERIAN PEARL OF DEPORTIVO
The technicians support the evolution of Francis

Francis Uzoho (1998, 1.96m) grows in the shade while Deportivo seek to cut the bleeding of goals conceded by the first team with the addition of the Ukrainian goalkeeper Maksym Koval. The young Nigerian international continues to mature as a footballer at the Fabril, and both his predisposition to improve and the evolution he has experienced in recent months are praised by the professionals of the entity.

The technical team commanded by Cristóbal Parralo and Gustavo Munúa agree when it comes to extolling the 19-year-old goalkeeper's skills, his desire to learn and the humility with which he digested returning to Fabril after Pepe Mel's toast in the sun, which made him debut in First in a delicate moment, marked by the insecurity transmitted by Tyton and Pantilimon and the fall of Rubén Martínez.

All of them maintain that Francis took the leap ahead of time , because although his raw talent and physical-technical conditions are considered extraordinary, the move from the subsidiary to the first team is not only related to the individual quality of the player, but also to its development. It is said that he learns in a week what others take a month to assimilate , but also that at that time his reading and his decision making were not superior to those of Álex Cobo, his partner under clubs in Segunda B.

Francis made his debut in the Primera against Eibar in Ipurúa (0-0) on October 15, he repeated the start in the traumatic defeat against Girona in Riazor (1-2) and returned to the second team days later, after the dismissal of Pepe Mel and the rise of Cristóbal. At that time, Parralo justified his decision by stating in public that " Fabril has two great goalkeepers [Álex Cobo and Francis Uzoho] and I am sure that in the future they can be part of the first squad. You have to trust the people of the first team and see if they are capable of giving what I want. " Extremely political statements aimed at keeping the goalkeeper from the forefront of the media and favoring their development in the medium and long term.

With options to go to the World Cup representing his country , which debuted in a friendly against Argentina played in November, Uzoho continues to burn stages. In the club they are aware of the potential they have in hand, and the goalkeeper, always smiling, focuses on continuing to do what he likes most: playing football.
