Thanks so just to reclarify. Iqas will evaluate her BL as professional degree? So she doesn't need to include her law school certificate?
You mean LLB. BL is the law school qualification. LLB is all she needs to send to IQAS to get a professional degree evaluation. She doesn't need law school, bachelors degree only
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Opotuniti(m): 3:58pm On Jan 28, 2018
Thanks for the reply.

No I do notbhave a call card for the promotes role.
I do not have access to the emails again as I am no longer with the company. Emails are always in staff names@office domain so the mail has been removed most definitely since I resigned from there.

It was a job role change, not a promotion

Guitarlife:

Do you have a call card for the promoted role ?
Do you have any emails with your promoted role signature ?
Ordinarily I think if the HR has written on their letter head the breakdown of roles like you said they did I wouldnt worry much, other people too could weigh in on this.
If it is not a grade level promotion and it is just a job role change then it is mostly informal and doesnt always come with an official notification.

Other people can weigh in like i said, I'd be interested in knowing too.

I am still waiting for your candid advise please.
Gurus in the house!!!!

Opotuniti:
Thanks for the help so far. I have not gotten any response.
My Total roles till date are 3 of which the 2 past roles are in a single company. I have collected HR Reference letter for my NOC role for ITA, the employer reference shows the two roles with the years as specified on company letterhead.

My challenge is this - I was not given a promotion letter for the 2nd role which is the NOC for ITA but the HR reference bears the roles, meanwhile, My old payslips of those days had the entry role stated on it & not the promoted role.

How do I address this? because payslip bears 1st role, & I dont have promotion letter for my NOC role but HR reference acknowledged the 2nd role using letterhead just as it is required.

Can I use alone the reference letter & letter of appointment, hope there wont be ADR!!
So many questions on my mind

1. The sibling's PR card
2. Sibling's utility bill (to prove address)
3. Birth certificates of you and the sibling (to prove relationship)

abyurla:
Hello everyone

Please who knows anyone that has successfully claimed a sibling as relative under federal EE? What exact doc(s) are you required to submit after you get ITA?

Pls help tag anyone who can help answer this.

Thanks

Why not wait for the next draw? In the mean time be gathering all your documents so soon as ITA comes you can submit..You will definitely be picked in the next draw so Why the rush? Decline and update your profile

ASEC:
Happy sunday e-fam.
I need your responses please. Very unhappy at the moment. Before I got to know about this informative thread on the canadian immigration program, I engaged a law firm (paid heavily for this). After I got my ITA (CRS 452), they demanded for an outrageous sum again. I then terminated the contract. I claimed the 15points CRS for sibling cos my husband's younger sister resides in Canada. Now, looking through what they filled, I found out that they claimed that I have a sibling in Canada and not my husband.
My question is this: should I decline the ITA and make amends, or continue with process and write an LOE.
HELP ME WITH YOUR RESPONSES, IT WILL GO A LONG WAY.

Some provinces like Manitoba and NB make u sign bond of how long you gonna be in the provinces! With Ontario u are not required to sign any bond.

But as a matter of principle the moment ur get ur PR and Land in Canada, u are covered under the charter of freedom and right to live anywhere within Canada.

bbaby84:

You probably are going to sign documents/a contract that mandates you to stay in Ontario for a couple of years ( most likely till you get your citizenship). You wouldn't want to go against your contract as I've read people have issues when applying for Citizenship.

Why not try and get nomination in your preferred province?

Did you submit his Nigerian passport before? If you did not, please do that asap. Some people actually leave out the US passport details but once you submit a US birth certificate, they know that the child is American , so they will not stamp a visa on the Nigerian passport after PPR, they will only issue a COPR (confirmation of permanent residency).

You should be good to go with a Nigerian Passport. With LOE if why you cannot provide a US passport yet.

Yes, I did submit his Nigerian passport. I did some more research and found a page on the cic.gc.ca help center; below is the answer given

"To find out why you are being asked to submit a specific document, to get more information about what a document should be, or to let us know why you cannot provide a document:

Write a letter with your questions or explanation; and
Upload it into the slot for the requested document you have questions about.
The processing officer will read your letter and provide more information based on your case."

Exactly my point. I hadn't seen this before though, you should feel more at ease now. Submit the LOE and resubmit the Nigerian passport. Make LOE the first page.

Alberta does not nominate you if you are a foreigner not residing in the province. I really want to stay at Alberta.

So are you trying to say it's okay for him to get a nomination from Ontario and live in Alberta?

Hello Guys, I work with a bank and we do not get payslips, how will I deal with this ?

This should not be an issue. IMO, if you get ADR for that, you may simply state that your employer does not provide such or even provide documentary proof e.g. mail from HR that payslips are not available. Bank statements showing salary payments may be provided in lieu if necessary. What stage are you now?

My people... I'm on CRS 438 ...
Is it best to chill and wait for ITA or I go the OINP route
I just got the NOI

I think you have 45 days to submit, right? Please verify.

Get all the necessary documents handy. If the scores do not go down within the period (say 40 days), maybe you should consider the OINP before the NOI expires. A bird in the hand....just a suggestion.

That's obviously not my point. My point is to correct the impression:

Ontario is one of the best provinces to live in. If not the best. wink He wont regret making the choice. My advise to him is to consider Ontario since he already has the NOI.

WES - Waiting for nasu to resume so school can verify the cert sent to them by WES.
IELTS - Waiting for super scores this friday...
POF- 90% complete
Then jump into pool, projected score with CLB 9 = 458

I didn't get the obvious point hence I asked. I believe I used the word 'probably'. Perhaps you should focus more on answering his question.

@Op the rule of thumb is to stay in the province that nominated you for at least 3 years after that you can live anywhere you choose.
Goodluck.

I will advise you not to decline the ITA. if I were to be in your shoes, I would create another profile with another email address and see if I can get another ITA before the expiration of the first one. If you go with the second ITA atleast your mind will be settled that you have crossed all your ts instead of having high bp. If you get a second ITA, decline the first and withdraw the profile. If no ITA for the second one, LOE will suffice to explain the discrepancy.

Maybe if she bears one baby for you first it will be okay....so you go to Ontario and spend a couple of years first.....you get?

Thank God o!
IQAS assessment long journey that started on 30/10/2017 ended yesterday 27/01/2018.
The long waiting worths it as it was compensated by IQAS in the Law degree assessment as first professional degree which WES had assessed as four years bachelor's degree.

What WES did initially was just ECA which is only valid for immigration. U will need to do a course by course evaluation through WES for CPA. U do not need to send transcripts again. Just pay for the new evaluation and ur good to go.

I think she may need to upgrade her immigration assessment to ICAP. You may need to pay some extra money though.

BL wouldn't give any additional points. Your friend should simply evaluate LLB with IQAS and get a professional degree evaluation
