TheSuperNerd: The 2 faced person who cannot stick to an opinion firmly is the biggest liar of all. The person who picks and choose when Kelechi is a striker and a SS to suit whatever narrative his mind reading could come up with. Have you heard? Kelechi is a useless lone forward I can only imagine how you twitch in anger whenever you come across that. And you think I'm not done with you? I thought you were intelligent. 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd: Seems it was while you were away. People pointed out Ezenwa's weaknesses and we all agreed but I asked about Uzoho's weakness and some said they can't point any. Someone even said his only weakness is he cannot speak Spanish. Give Uzoho more game time and we will know him better. No goalkeeper is perfect. Uzoho is a great prospect but I still believe he is being hyped here. He has a long way to go. 3 Likes |

Icon4s: Goalkeepers making errors is part of the game, it does not make him less good. Afterall, he has had several clean sheets this season. What we are looking are Goalkeepers with fundamentals. Look at the goal conceded by Ezenwa today, he did not have to be that far off his line. Positioning was not great. Like i have said before, if we had good options from the league, no one will be mentioning these kids but we are where we are. Right now, Uzoho is probably the best choice of the lot. 4 Likes |

tbaba1234:How on earth is Ezenwa at fault for that goal? He needed to be that far off his line, the Angolan attacker was already through on goal and it is his job as a goalkeeper to rush out and cover his space. No keeper would ever stay in post seeing an attacker breathing down his goal post. 1 Like |

Shukusheka: The striker had a defender covering.. He was not one on one with the keeper. The striker was not going to go round the keeper. The only option was to shoot. A keeper always has the best chance of saving when he is in one position. That said, he had a good game from all accounts. 1 Like |

tbaba1234: Addressing the bolded.... Chief Icon4s.... I agree that among our current options (provided Enyeama is not coming back), Uzoho is possibly the best of the risks we can take. This is why Rohr is working seriously on him via his coaching team sent out to work with certain players. But still, it is true Uzoho is not there yet and bound to make a few errors as he is still growing. He is just 19. Even the article Tbaba1234 shared mentioned two key areas Uzoho still needs more work on... Decision making is one of them. He is not perfect. But he is indeed most likely our best shot in Enyeama's and Ikeme's absence. I only take solace in the fact that Uzoho is a fast learner. Give it time... We still got 137 days or so... 1 Like |

tbaba1234:That through pass split open our defence, our defender had to make a last ditch tackle to get the ball. No keeper would see a pass split through his defense like that in his 6 yard box and just stay put in his post. The goal was a deflection, neither the defender nor the keeper is to blame for it. |

I am happy the kid is making mistakes and
suffering. Its suffering that makes a player a
fantastic player. he will grow from this. It was like
the Osimhen match earlier. he wasnt spectacular,
but he suffered. he ran and ran and ran and had to
fight against two giants! Those kind of matches
impact a player's growth more than the easier
games where he has space to do whatever he
likes. COPIED |

goldfish80: The degree of conceitedness goes beyond arrogance to delusion, shown by TheSuperNerd. The only person than knows the heart of a man is God, certainly not any man. You do not know anybody personally and even if you did, it is impossible to make deductions about people in this very toxic way. It is not he who shouts the loudest that is considered wise. 3 Likes |

After serving his suspension, Samuel Kalu found his way back into Gent's starting lineup against club Brugge and he responded well with a bang. As I earlier reported, Osimhen started (his first start) and completed the match today as his team beat Hannover 96 1 Like |

Shukusheka: Ezenwa has a penchant for rushing out, we saw it in the qualifiers against Cameroon when he caused a needless penalty. From what i saw, he had a defender covering and should have halted his run. 1 Like |

Icon4s:this is wrong. The basic logic of these calculations is simple: any team that does well in world football wins points which enable it to climb the world ranking. A team’s total number of points over a four-year period is determined by adding: The average number of points gained from matches during the past 12 months; and The average number of points gained from matches older than 12 months (depreciates yearly). Calculation of points for a single match The number of points that can be won in a match depends on the following factors: Was the m atch won or drawn? ( M ) How important was the match (ranging from a friendly match to a FIFA World Cup™ match)? (I )How strong was the opposing team in terms of ranking position and the confederation to which they belong? (T and C) These factors are brought together in the following formula to ascertain the total number of points (P): P = M x I x T x C The following criteria apply to the calculation of points: M: Points for match result Teams gain 3 points for a victory, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a defeat. In a penalty shoot-out, the winning team gains 2 points and the losing team gains 1 point. |
