Please ooo, I made an update on my EE profile yesterday and I didn't receive an email confirming the update. The first update I made to my profile last December, I received an email confirming the update but surprisingly the last 2 updates I made, I did not receive an email confirmation even though I always sign and transmit. Is this a problem? |

Good morning house. How do I process my IELTS? I went to the site and saw so many confusing codes, I intend using my Zenith account for the process. Also kindly provide a guide on how to raise a bank draft for me. Please help out a sister. I will be writing in Benin hopefully. |

coolangel54: Hi there. Please take out time and read, then understand this whole process. The process of registering and paying for IELTS is very clear on the British council website. If you can't understand that one, how will one then understand the test they're taking to pass it? Asking how you will raise a bank draft, visit the Cemetry titled Deceased Bank Drafts, then stand over any of the graves, then raise the bank draft from the dead. dunno why Nigerians use that term "raise bank draft" as if the bank draft died before. Anyway, unless there's a bank named Nairaland...I don't know how anyone can guide you on that other than you going to your bank and asking them. My point is do not rely heavily on this forum for every tiny wincy question you have. Do your own I research then ask questions that are peculiar to your case. You can't wing it, trust me. Calm down and all the best 18 Likes |

neni83: What does it say on the CIC website? Doesn't it say that creating an EE profile doesn't mean you have submitted an application for PR, until you are ITA'ed, paid the fees and submitted? If that's the case, what will be the answer to the question you're now asking? Take a wild guess Ps: I'm assuming you meant to write profile not application @ the bolded. Na you dey confuse ya sef with the terms. 2 Likes |

coolangel54:www.britishcouncil.org.ng and follow the instructions. You may need to visit your bank too. Also why don't you begin with the evaluation of your transcripts first. While u wait, read intensely for ielts. Except u have 68k to dash BC. 2 Likes |

Quick advise to the house, If your score is not that great, I.e. below 440 and your spouse hasn't yet sat for IELTS, I'll recommend you encourage them to give IELTS a shot to improve your score. There are two benefits to this: 1) you stand to gain 20 points from them. Giving you a fighting chance for ITA. 2) saves you money in future when it's time to apply for citizenship as proof of English/French language test is one of the requirements for Canadian citizenship. Good thing is they'll even accept the results even if it has expired. As long as you get above CLB 4/4.5. So in a way you are winning all round and saving for the future, who know...maybe the price for IELTS then will be $500 as against the N68K you can pay now If you're single and your CRS is below 440 and you have maxed out IELTS, look in your neighborhood for a local MFM to join. Just kidding.... 18 Likes |

Hello good people, How long does the physical mail that WES uses for verification take to reach? The university has denied receiving an email form WES regarding my verification and apparently WES cant disclose the email they sent to due to confidentiality reasons. I've emailed them to resend it but i got the generic email below: Your academic records have been sent to the institution for verification by email and mail. The status for these documents will be updated in My Account once their response is received and accepted by WES. We appreciate your patience in allowing your former institution sufficient time to respond to our request. I wish i had used IQAs |

They are looking at getting invited by Ontario province to apply for nomination. Ontario reviews only newly created profiles to determine people who meet their criteria. People also have to re-create their profile if for some reason they are found ineligible, you cannot edit an ineligible profile. Example of such reasons include: choosing NOC C as against 0, A or B. doyinwbaby: 1 Like |

My people, I am trying to edit the job title and NOC on my work history post-ITA but it is not saving and moving to the next field "Research". Who knows what I might doing wrong. But when I "save & add", it adds the same info I edited, but now refuses to save and exit. It just keeps rolling and show the same page. What's the implication of using the "start again"button on top of the field? Please help! |
