I always laugh when people say they'll vote buhari out in 2019. This is a man that carried out the first coup in nigeria against a democratically elected government. A man that has been to court many times to contest the election results that he lost. A man that threatened baboons and whatnot if he lost another election. A man that threatened war if he had lost the 2015 election.
Is it now that he's president you expect him to accept election result if he loses in 2019?
Here is what will happen if buhari goes for reelection, he will lose woefully after trying to rig the election and he will challenge the result in court but he would be prepared to go to war than handover to another person even to his fellow hausa fulani.
The man is dvlllllard after all.

I don't think he would do it willingly but commonsense would tell him not to contest at all and Nigeria does not belong to him.

Same thing happened in Ivory coast and Gambia, he would eventually be forced to go.

If Buhari loses and insist on remaining, there would be widespread protest. AU, UN may get involved to stop Nigeria from disintegration.

Dr Jonathan conceded to Buhari and changed election for good. Every election since then has been relatively free and fair. Check Ghana and Liberia.

That won’t happen. APC will just rig the election and he’ll act like he doesn’t know.

Buhari administration has been lack lustre, it's not only Obasanjo that noticed Bubu wasn't doing well. The entire came to that conclusion before Obasanjo’s letter.
He can no longer win in the middle belt and would struggle to get 25% in the entire South.

Democrat and Buhari shouldn't be in the same sentence.
Buhari is not and will never be considered a democrat.

you are generalizing. there are 36 states.16 of the states will vote him if he runs.the south east will register 50% voter population likewise south south.South west will sympathise with tinubu but still 50% voter registrations. states such as akwa ibom, rivers, delta with huge votes will he turned into hell zones on election day.middle belt has Benue, taraba, nasarawa, plateau, Adamawa.only Benue and taraba can vote the other way.
it is practically impossible for Buhari to loose IF HE RECONTESTS.

In Nigeria an election is only a defeat if the electoral umpire (the inec boss) says so.

The INEC boss Mahmoud Yakubu would never say so.

So technically Buhari cannot be defeated in 2019.

Haters goan die.

Buhari won't hand over peacefully. But he will finally be forced to hand over. His life may even be taken in the crisis when he refused to accept election results.
