Hey guys!!! We all know this year's jamb is around the corner. Some of us here are yet to start preparing, some are already preparing while some are fully prepared!!! So, I just thought it'd be great to create a thread, where we can discuss the areas we've got problems in the respective subjects we're to write.

If you've got different questions on mathematics, physics, biology and chemistry, that you would like peeps here to tackle or solve please do well to drop them.

I really look forward to us smashing 300+ this year.

Cheers guys!!!

The others are correct... But the aanswerwto the last one is external gills I think. Tadpoles have internal gills which is concealed by the operculum

NO react with iron(ii)tetraoxosulphate(vi). to form FESO4.NO. Which is the basis for brown ring test.
Re: 2018 JAMB: Thread For SCIENCE Students Only!!! by DrBESTJC(m): 3:42pm On Feb 17, 2018
I think that the answer should be be NO2, because ordinary NO will firstly have to react with air in order to form a brown gas. So NO2 is acid anhydrid which can dissolve in water to form HNO3 and further react with certain metals or componds to form its salt and by the use of acidified iron(ii)tetraoxosulphate(vi)salt by slanting the tube a brow ring is formed.

JAMB PHYSICS.

A student eats a dinner containing 8.0 * 10^6 Joules of energy. He wishes to do an equivalent amount of work in a nearby gym by lifting a 60Kg object. How many times must he raise the object to expand this much energy? Assume that he raises it a distance of 2.0m each time.
(A) 6.7 * 10^5 times
(B) 6.7 * 10^3 times
(C) 6.8 * 10^3 times
(D) 6.8 * 10^4 times

Physics gurus in the house please help outooooo.............this question don give me enough headache.
