ASEC: Hello, I could see you've gotten diverse opinion concerning your question. If I may chip-in, I would suggest you should decline the ITA and restart your APP hitchfree and with peace of mind that all information supplied are 100% accurate. Mr. A could create two profile and get away with it while Mr. B may not be that lucky, also Letter of Explain might be another way out but we don't know how the VO will take it. if I were you, I will decline and restart again. With your score, I'm 100% ready sure you'll get ITA in the next draw. decision is yours, please think it thoroughly and make a wise one. have this phrase in mind while making your decision...."What if".... 2 Likes |

I added two degrees (B.Sc and M.Sc) in my WES application, I am now thinking of withdrawing my B.Sc due to the ongoing NASU strike. My question is:- is it possible to assess only M.Sc and not B.Sc in WES?. My M.Sc was done in the U.K. while my B.Sc was done in Nigeria; will they be any negative implication when applying for PR?; if the answers to my aforementioned questions are yes and no respectively then how do I go about assessing only my M.Sc given that I have created my WES Profile already and paid for assessment for both degrees? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by happytbaby: 2:54pm On Jan 30, 2018 |
You are good to go with just the M.Sc. Ask WES to conclude your evaluation without the B.Sc. lordbeans: 2 Likes |

lordbeans: You should have been assessing only your M.Sc anyway as it is your highest degree. No it will not affect you negatively when applying for PR 1 Like |

Some school's transcripts comes with DOB, for example, OAU. Hi Grace, I don't think Transcripts have a DOB on them, to be honest your question prompted me to check two of mine just now and none of them has DOB on them. The most important dates on a transcript should be start and end dates of your programme. Well anybody will a contrary view should advise further. Thanks [/quote] |

@happytbaby, can one send a standing order to WES to conclude evaluation without BSc? I have an uncle in this category. Thanks happytbaby: |

ASEC:You don't need to decline ur ITA. Go ahead with ur application. While filling your eAPR make the necessary amendments and add the proof of relationship. They would verify the information you put. |

nat138:Hi. Pardon me if this seems like a silly question, but how does one request for transcript (MSc) from a foreign university if you are no longer physically present in the country? Do you just email them the forms from WES? Is the process same for online acquired masters degree? |

sugah: Universities overseas (if not africa oo, cos Ghanaian uni. is also a foreign uni.) are well organized. Speak to the student services of your school via email, they will respond within 24hours and let you know how to request transcripts and whatever verification document is required. |

Has anyone with AOR 22nd January received any update! I know I might seem impatient, but I'm not even sure what to look out for |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by happytbaby: 4:47pm On Jan 30, 2018 |
I think something is not right with this first statement "Undertake day-day clinical duties such as walk-in clinic", please rephrase. Please edit the last two roles for parallelism for example "suture cuts, wounds and perform minor surgeries", 'provide antenatal, delivery and post natal care to pregnant women' not sure if this captures it exactly, just an example. sleekchic: |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by nat138: 4:51pm On Jan 30, 2018 |
sugah: All I did this morning was print and fill out the form from WES, sent it as an email attachment to the Registry office in my former Uni, got response within 15mins, transcript has already been picked up by courier service and on its way to WES (the school emailed back to inform me). I am sure all diffrent departmental contacts will be on the 'Contact us@ page of the school's website. I am sure it is the same process for online Masters, after all na the same certificate classroom based people collect Hope this is helpful? Cheers |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by nat138: 4:54pm On Jan 30, 2018 |
gracelevel: Grace to be honest, I don't think this is an issue, many people have given various views on this. Not all schools have DOB on their transcripts. Just go ahead and submit your request for verification or if you are still in doubt, check if there is an email address or phone number you can contact the Evaluation Services you are using and ask them. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Pamperme: 4:56pm On Jan 30, 2018 |
sugah: Sugah, Those guys are well organized... I remember my spouse only sent mail to an email that was indicated on the school's website with the evidence of the specified payment and the WES form attached. Someone responded in a few hours with his tracking number. I couldn't cry coz i had to travel to my school to make my own request... then lots of bribes and calls. Was eventually sent tracking number after 3 weeks and that's even because i met an old classsmate working in the school. His WES evaluation was already done with before my transcript got to WES. And someone is asking why i want to leave this country... SMH! 12 Likes |

@Pamperme, mosbiod, nat138 Thanks guys for the speedy response. Now I'm wishing I did a masters abroad too cos NASU is on strike for my Bsc. The MSc is my spouse's. I guess I'd just get his own ball rolling as he is the PA |
