Dependants can travel alone BUT they cannot land before the primary applicant. I suppose if he is in Canada, that means he would have 'landed' as soon as he receives COPR, you should be able to travel by yourself to meet him in Canada. Modified: he is to complete landing process in Canada after he receives COPR, you will be able to travel without him after he has. Ekinado: |

nat138: I beg to disagree. U can always get your reference. I got my reference number immediately because I needed to send the document to school because money wasn't ready for payment. |

lordbeans: Hi, If your profession is regulated, that means you need to get a professional licence before you practice in Canada then I'll advice you to be patient and assess both of your degrees. Also, if you desire to advance your studies in Canada, then this is another reason why you should assess both of your degrees. This is because WES can permanently store your verified transcripts and certificates in their data base and post it to any institution of your choice when you are ready to use them (saves future stress and cost). However, if you the think securing your PR quickly is more important and you wouldn't need a professional licence or further studies, then you can withdraw your lower degree from being assessed. As doing this will not affect your PR application. All the best. 2 Likes 1 Share |

slydog: The higher the degree, the higher the score for academics I guess, if I were in your shoes I will also wait till after the PhD. PhDs are usually hotcake especially if it is in a field where there is need. You can also write your IELTS before April. Results are valid for two years, so should be fine I guess. And also because sometimes the exam dates could be far in between as they get filled up really quickly, it is best to get that out of the way. Cheers 2 Likes |

Good morning y’all.Welldone guys! Pls I need help. I’m a Pharmacist here in naija but from what I’ve read,is it possible to claim internship, NYSC and community practice as work experience(s)?? I asked because my internship was in an hospital, NYSC was in a college of health as a lecturer and now post-nysc, I work in a community pharmacy(over a year experience). The hospital and community practice(s) are similar in job description but the NYSC is different .....so can I use the three? And if Yes,pls for that NYSC, will my certificate suffice or I need to go to my PPA for reference letter? Pls help me.....thanks in advance... |

Maybe the person I helped to pay recently went another route when creating his account. He was assigned a reference number after payment, I was surprised and thought they had modified the process. Threemg: |

Good day house. pls I want to ask a question on behalf of my sister who is a pharmacist. she has wes evaluation but because she want to practice, she should have applied for document evaluation via pebc. Now her wes evaluation is ready but pebc is not because it takes a longer time like 8wks can she open her profile with wes while she waits for pebc and when pebc comes out is it still possible to include it. Gurus and elders of the thread over to you pls |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Ethelia(f): 11:25am On Jan 31, 2018 |
chimax1: The Government website specified pebc for pharmacists. I don't know if the evaluation from WES will even be accepted |

Pls I need some clarifications on this. I intend processing a Canada visa going through 1. Student visa route And 2. PR using express entry route Is there an implications going through these two route simultaneously ? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Ethelia(f): 11:49am On Jan 31, 2018 |
ham334488: yes. you risk having your student visa refused. applying for pr shows the officer you intend to remain in Canada. they might feel that if your pr application is refused and you are granted a student visa you might be willing to remain illegally. #my2cents |
