Rohr has said, he will only pick players that are playing.
Elderson, Musa and Success have moved to find more games. Kayode is also most likely moving.

I remember, Keshi said the same but it had less weight. We carried Reuben Gabriel who had not played football for 2 years.

bro forget it...success left an inalienable Mark the last time he played in the Spanish league....
he has a good reputation and so much is expected from him in that league....
so...him sitting on the bench not going to be possible......I don't know for ideye though...

but for success this move just intch him close to Russia....

Issac Success is the one player that I know can gatecrash the final 23 man list even ahead of Onyekuru in the Super Eagles Attack. But to achieve that, Success must produce a fine run in this second half of rhe season.... The ball is in his court. Rohr obviously rates Success over Onyekuru... You don't need to be clairvoyant to know that. wink

Echiejile Joins Second-Tier Belgian Club Cercle Brugge

Nigerian international left-back Elderson Echiejile has joined Belgian First Division B (second-tier) club Cercle Brugge until the end of the season after he cancelled his contract with Turkish Sivasspor Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.

Cercle Brugge are owned by French side giants AS Monaco, the parent club of Echiejile.

Super Eagles regular Echiejile joined Sivasspor on a season-long loan deal from AS Monaco last summer but hardly featured for the team, making 10 appearances in all competitions (seven Turkish league games and three Turkish Cup games) in the first half of the season.

Echiejile has undergone a successful medical at Cercle Brugge and will be unveiled before the Belgian transfer window closes on Wednesday night, CSN gathered.

Cercle Brugge currently lead the Belgian First Division B second stage with 23 points from 10 games.

The 30-year-old defender had already played in Belgium in the 2016 season, when he was on loan from AS Monaco to Standard Liege.

Echiejile has also featured for Stade Rennes and SC Braga.

I think those bad book tales should be behind Success right now. He has been working his way back to fitness and top conditioning. Before his move, he did make the match day squad twice or so for Watford to tell you how far he's come. I expect to see the Real Beast.... Isaac "The Beast" Success. Will be tough shaa making the Russia party, but I think a good run for him with Malaga will see him move above Onyekuru in the pecking order for the world cup.

Henry is very ambitious... True. He is very driven. I like his attitude. He is also a strong contender for a place in our attack but it just got extra tough for him because of Success' potential resurrection with Malaga.

Let the headache begin.... grin

Yup. Same here. Our boys are definitely taking advantage of this January transfer window to change their situation.

I have no idea why Kelechi Iheanacho is not being mentioned anywhere! Newcastle wanted him initially, now it looks like Newcastle would prefer to go with Slimani ... someone who hasn't started a game for Leicester since God knows when! In fact, Kelechi should fire his agent if he doesn't get even a loan move this transfer widow.

Great news, now Iheanacho should work harder and be more productive so as to cement his place permanently in the team. I really need him to make the fans feel the same way the invitees at the wedding Jesus did his first miracle felt when they were served the better wine.
hmmm...
Presently, Vardy and Okazaki are ahead of him in the pecking order.

The problem is: even if he displace Okazaki can he play alongside vardy. I don't see him displacing vardy(one of English Top striker) any moment son considering the fact that it's a world cup year and they'll want him to be in a top shape.

Leicester seems to always play a very different game anytime Vardy is on . They become less possessive of the ball which does not really suit Nacho and resort to huff and puff kind of set up huffing all the ball to vardy to chase.

One thing I only see changing the whole situation on ground is if Riyad Mahrez move to Man City materialise, the cult-like status the title winning side possess might be finally brought down and equity will be established with the influx of new signing.

Till then, Nacho should be contempted with the sub role.

Loooollll.... Calm down O pari master... grin

Ulloa left to Brighton...

Slimani left to Newcastle... Newcastle actually wanted Kelechi but it seems Puel won't let go and prefers letting go of Slimani. I think Puel kinda rates Kelechi over Slimani and Newcastle being in need of striker and with Mitrovic also going out the door, they had to settle for Slimani. Slimani too wants playing time so he took the plunge.

Right now Kelechi only has Okazaki and Vardy to contend with majorly. But shaa time will tell... But I see Kelechi getting at least some more game time this second half of the season. Even Puel promised so... But as usual... We dey observe.

Bros, I asked you to post the stats of how many chances created by England in euros and how many Kane scored/missed.

I have showed you that of Okpotu, kindly show us that of Kane. I haven't changed anything.

Prove it that Kane got tens of chances and blew them away like Okpotu in CHAN.
BascoVanVeli:

Don't twist your own words boss. U keep on switching ur stance and it is not making this debate interesting tbh. Look at the bolded for crying out loud, I am telling u that Harry Kane did not destroy the defenses at the 2016 Euro's and u are trying to change what u are even saying in ur current post.

Less on the coach I think, more on the multiple choices available now.
tbaba1234:
See Nigerian players making moves to try and be part of the World cup. Everyone is moving to get more gametime.

This is the effect of a foreign coach unlike what obtained before.

And Keshi also wasn't given free hands to pick. Don't be surprised some of his choices must have been externally influenced.

To Echiejile's fans, ur boy has finally landed in the league that suits his talent, I wish him all the best in this new challenge but he should stop dreaming of Russia with the Eagles because there is no how a player in the Belgian Second Division (Cercle Brugge), a washed up player for that, will be considered for a place in our 23man squad. Team Echiejile grin
Some established Eagle's players are already been phased out gradually.

The mahrez deal is off....

Man City made four bids today with the last being a bid of £65 million + a player but Leicester said NO! Lol

Mahrez stays to join Kelechi, Vardy, Okazaki, Diabate, Gray, Albrighton, and Barnes in that offensive dept to finish Leicester's season as possibly seventh behind the top 6. wink

A mahrez's departure would have helped Iheanacho claim more game time. The less attackers they have, the more likely they use him.

There have always been multiple choices. We just failed to give them opportunities.I remember Leon Balogun at some point was obviously Nigeria's best defender in Europe. Siasia released a list and left Balogun out.

Much of our selections under Keshi and Siasia were not merit-driven.
