His decision making is his Achilles' heel. Against Cameroun in Yaoundé... evident. Against Angola at the CHAN for that goal due to poor communication with his defender.... evident. Against Algeria.... evident again. Against Sudan at the CHAN... cost him his injury. Evident. Well, he is still a fine Goalie... but has no chance or potential of becoming near world class. He is far from it. tbaba1234: 1 Like |

I thought we are only going to the world cup with 23 man team? Everyone being picked to go to the world cup. Make una small small o lol. Rohr knows 80% of his team already (according to him) so where would all these new names fit into? As for goal keeping position, those he's likely to pick are known by him but the order of picking is what is giving him issues IMO. The friendlies should allow at least 4-6 keepers get tried. We have 5-6 friendlies, let each of them have 2 trials each (2 halves). Even if we have 6 goal keepers to try, 6 friendlies can get us a better view of them all. Ezenwa Ajiboye Uzoho Akpeyi Alampasu These 5 should be tested during the friendlies. Infact Aiyenugba should also be tried IMO. From these 6 names, I know about 2 who are very good with stopping PKs. (AJIBOYE AND AIYENUGBA) for height : Uzoho and Alampasu For positioning: Uzoho, Aiyenugba and Ajiboye For confidence: Ezenwa, Aiyenugba, Uzoho and Ajiboye I believe it shouldn't be that hard to find 3 good keepers from these 6 options. 1 Like |

somehow: Fixed... The five Goalie names (Uzoho, Alampasu, Ezenwa, Ajiboye, Akpeyi) have all been invited by Rohr himself at various stages of our qualifying campaign in 2017 and 2016 so it is nothing new to see their names flying around the thread. And of these five, only four are truly in contention. Akpeyi is not going to he in Russia I believe. But now you bring in Aiyenugba?? Sorry man... it is certainly...

No need "fixing" my opinion, it's disrespectful, you could have quoted me and stated your opinion too. don't cancel my comment next time bro. not cool. Thanks TheSuperNerd: Having said that, Ajiboye was never mentioned by Rohr, but we can now see how he has proven himself, same should be thought for any other goal keeper including Aiyenugba. Like i said, its my opinion, if the coach wants the best for the back, he should review his goal keeping stand again and should please do away with Alloy Agu, that man is incompetent! 4 Likes |

somehow:If we go by your analysis on each Keeper, then Uzoho,Ajiboye,Aiyenugba nick it but i doubt Aiyenugba cos he is not in Rohr's plan, remember Maduka too,so let's put our fingers crossed but for now Ezenwa,Uzoho and Ajiboye with his performance yesterday ahead but am seeing Alampasu breaking into the team if any of the trio failed to deliver. 1 Like |

I quoted you... I stated my opinion... We fix people's opinions sometimes here in that manner so it is nothing new really Why getting so worked up over nothing? And also, I showed you why your mentioning Aiyenugba is absurd. He is not in Rohr's plans. Finito. Thank you too Mr somehow. P.S: Ajiboye have been invited by Rohr himself. #fact somehow: |

Kog45: Yea i know hes got plans for some goal keepers already. Uzoho has been his main concentration. for me, i will go with Uzoho, Ajiboye and Ezenwa in that order but Uzoho needs to be tested more before he can be tagged as first choice. |

TheSuperNerd: I dont take pleasure in anyone cancelling out my comment, like i said its disrespectful, take correction and move on sir, you can do for others who dont see anything wrong with it but not my comment. thanks. Well Akpeyi was also in his plans and invited before he got screwed over by himself, so what makes you think those he's picking has been confirmed? He invited Ajiboye but never used him, so what fact does that display? for now, nothing is confirmed when it comes to the GK position. 2 Likes |

You definitely are somehow... getting worked up over nothing... Lolll... It is okay... Uhmmmmm, on the GK position, one thing is surely confirmed mister. Dele Aiyenugba is not Russia-bound and not even in the picture. EOD. Now move on from that and let's stick to "reason" here. somehow: |

TheGoodJoe: should I run you through a long list of Gks who showed top class promise at the U17 but left much to be desired later on? Chrisantus was groomed abroad, what happened to him? Akinsola was also great then, whatever happened to him. What is even the meaning of grooming to you? I said Ajiboye has been groomed by the NPFL and yes he has, he has been posting consistent performances in the NPFL, that means the coaches have noticed his progress. Ok Alampasu that is also another talent where is he? Third choice is a club I don't even know, wouldn't he be better off in the NPFL developing himself? Enyeama was developed in the NPFL with little or no national team experience and he only got his chance because we had a dearth of good Gks, such a situation does not occur all the time. Like I said, Ajiboye has been groomed by the NPFL. When we talk about world class keepers why do we not include Ajiboy? Because he plays for Plateau United and not because he cannot, currently, perform better than other world class keepers. Meanwhile I still do not understand how I went over the line with De Gea, do you even know where he started his career? 2 Likes |

somehow:I don't see Uzoho beating Ajiboye with what i saw yesterday but Uzoho's height is tempting even Alampasu too,so likely Rohr go for Uzoho. |

HZwriters:well the CHAN team has really surpassed my expectations, i didnt expect them to go this far, but what more can i ask for, a place in the final. But then i am not impressed with the team's overall play, i think coach salisu have not done a good job to this team and i wondered how some players made the team..okpotu as far as i am concerned is not a striker, he can pass for a sumo wrestler, wondered why the coach took an injured eneji to the tournament dropping sikiru and eduwo. the only high point in this team is the goalkeeping department, so impressed with the goalkeepers, especially ajiboy he reminds me of myself during my heydays 4 Likes |
