Efewestern: Any ethnic group that believes that Igbos like to claim to be better than them and that is why they aren't friendly should actually do a soul searching and they will confirm that the Igbos are far better than them. Do Urhobos feel so towards the Igbos.? If no, why then the dislike towards the Igbos.? 7 Likes |

It's about time. Without the Middlebelt to be used as their tool, the North is finished politically. The Middlebelt should not allow itself to continue to be deceived by the North. Their interest and Nigeria's interest is better served by them aligning with SE, SS and SW. 4 Likes |

hisgrace090: The day the middle belt and south south people will realize that the Igbos are not their problems that will be the day the beginning to the end of their problem will start. Even Asaba don't call themselves Igbos. To them (south south people) aligning with the Igbos is slavery but the whole oil well in their backyard is owned by the northerners. Una well done o. 8 Likes |

The idea if middle belt though lofty but it can't work for the simple reasons that States such as kogi, kwara,Niger n nasarawa with large Muslim population will always prefer to go with the caliphate n sabotage any effort gears towards otherwise, so Benue n plateau States should just better begin to think of how to organise themselves n stay strong because they are the major target of the core north Hausa/Fulani oligarchy towards total domination n absolute control of the north period. 3 Likes |

Blue3k: No. They did not throw their weight on Jonathan. APC won in all the states in the middle belt. They have much clout to achieve all they talked about. The North uses them to override the south by way of population. If they pull out of the north and form an alliance with the south, the north is finished. Look at the maps very well. You can see that a state like Benue and Kogi are not actually at the northern part of the nation as they are located at the southern part of FCT. 3 Likes |

ClumsyFlimsy: Niger state is geographically situated in the Northern part of Nigeria, it is also culturally Northern. River Niger and Benue are the dividing line, any area situated north of these rivers is North and area situated south of these rivers is south. Logically, Benue and part of taraba should be in the south east, kwara and kogi should be south west while Niger, plateaus, nasarawa are Northern states 1 Like |

If the wrath of God wants to fall upon a man, he'll first make a mistake. Just as PMB has done to the people of Benue State, by his negligence in the Herdsmen attack. 1 Like |
