Good evening....I need your skills here @glitteringstar, @optionese and other gurus. I have a friend who is in London visa office (Aug aor). She just got a mail for an interview. I remember someone mentioned that he/she got an interview request but can't remember the moniker. Please help. Is there anything in particular they be asking the couple. They are currently in NA2...I think Thanks y'all. |

Hi duppyshoo, congrats to your sis. Was the employment reference letter in cic format? Still struggling with how to get mine. My employer does not give the letter in cic format. I intend to include my offer letter, promotion letter, ID card and payslips(if I can get any) will that suffice? Thanks dupyshoo: |

Appreciate the response. and the emphatic "no way" on Option 4. Re comment on Option 2. Expiry is Feb 14 12 AM UTC. My understanding is that means, midnight on Feb 13th?? Also, didn't realise I needed to scan the TRF set, though I have the old one sha. And your sentiments on pressure and rush etc is in alignment with madam's thinking. Re comment on Option 1. Current LOE actually mentions the whole story of writing a new test etc. But thanks for the point about adding evidence of new test being/already written. Makes sense die. Re Current Scores ( L:9, R:9, W: 8.5, S:8.5) Madam's scores are (L:8.5, R:7.5, W: 7.5, S:7.5) So hoping for more comments o. Cos if its Option 1, na to submit tomorrow be dat na. happytbaby: |

Appreciated! Seems that Option 4 is not something that people advise ( even from other examples I've seen) so maybe na to eliminate that angle. Actually score will likely be 449 once I get the new test results (at least based on belief ), at least until June when she will drop 5 points for age ysteph: |

BoboXIV:Hi, It has to be 1 or 3.... If you're sure she'll remain as high as 445, I'll take 3 and submit as soon as you get the next ITA. If you go with 1 and your application is reviewed before the 14, it may be rejected depending on the VO at CIO . Goodluck with your decision. |

If he is going with Option 1, he will submit on 12th biko, he will not give them ample time to review yet . Please note that in the placeholder for Education you will need to scan the IELTS TRF, ECA and University certificates for each of you. You must scan Madam's TRF oooo, online results are not enough, you will also have to fill in the result date and TRF number. It is a common reason for cancellation. Make LOE for education first page. Your scores means that you gave Madam 20 points for IELTS so without yours her score is -20, I believe something is amiss with your calculations. You know book small sha...winks *** If we go with declining the ITA, its highly probable you will be invited again but I think since Nov 15, ITA has moved towards your range only once, I do not have the energy to confirm but I have specific interest in Nov 15 draw so ..... I would like @Cochtrane, Duppysho, Datechman, Glitteringstar etc to weigh in on this. bbaby84: |

BoboXIV: My advice: Decline the ITA. 449 is a good CRS score and I believe you will get another invitation before the end of February. If your results will expire before you can apply, you should: - be tested again or - apply before your test results expire or - decline the invitation and go back into the pool to be considered in the future. If you apply for permanent residence with language test results that have expired, we’ll refuse your application.--(Source) 9 Likes |

Yes, it was. Just put as much information as ypu can. The most important information is your job description. The years of experience also matters. Elle78: |

I agree with this. 449 is not a bad score at all. No point going through the other routes. GlitteringStar: 3 Likes |

My business is also registered as a business name but I had a separate account for the business. In your case I don't think it would be a problem as long as you can highlight the monies coming in as business and match them against invoices, receipts, contract agreement etc. flosk: 1 Like |

lordbeans: I logged on to Nairaland and my eye caught your comment. This is the similar situation with my hubby. I told him to only evaluate his Msc, Dude went to do both. His second degree is from Ghana while the first is from Nigeria. Because of the issues that has to do with transcript application, the delays and all, He realized it was a mistake registering for both. So he only paid for the Msc and WES acknowledged and all was fine with that, however they need his Btech because that has been showing on his profile. What did he do? He simply sent a mail to WES not to wait for Btech and they should only focus on his MSC. Before this time, we had called and called with nobody picking the call. Fortunately, somebody saw the email and responded. They removed the BTECH and he did not have to bother with verifying his BTECH. To answer your question, send a mail to WES via the contact me option. Tell them to only focus on Msc been your highest degree and not wait for the other one. At this stage, you must have gone ahead to send only your MSC certificates to WES and they should have received it. They would respond to you and remove the BTECH degree from your profile. They did for my hubby and now his verification is completed. To add, just like you, my first and second degrees are from Nigeria and UK respectively. With my hubby's mistake, I did not even bother verifying BTECH. I did MSC straight and I have been sorted. In summary, Go ahead to verify only your MSC. When WES has received your MSC document, Send a mail. Attach your reference number. Tell them your plight. Request them not to wait for your BSC because your MSC is your highest qualification. That's all. Remember that, you are paying for a service but you say you do not want the service anymore. WES has to remove it. That's no problem with them. I hope this helps you. Please feel free to contact me here omobyadex@yahoo.com if you need further help. Perhaps we had this problem just because we needed to help somebody out of it: You! All the best. 12 Likes |

No I wasn't asked to pay a fine. It was a very cordial relationship, I opened up to the tax controller and my issues were addressed appropriately. I am resident in Abuja so I wentbto FIRS not SIRS. I am not sure if same applies in other states. revenant: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Thank you all very much for the comments. Been very helpful. Based on this, we've decided to decline the ITA. But trusting God that a) IELTS don't try themselves and give one a disastrous score and b) CRS scores actually drop even lower, not just for us but for everyone on this thread hoping for ITA. and @happytbaby, you were right re the points from my language scores were actually 20, so her score is now 429. So hoping that we get a Valentine day present of 20 points from IELTS to take us back to 449. GlitteringStar: 8 Likes |

Just go back to his profile and take off the educational qualification there. Didn't include any for wify and no placeholder was given. You can then update his qualification under personal history. Newmum0615: 1 Like |
