The mi remote not only control AC. I use my Note 3 SE to control all my gadgets; including LG HOME THEATRE, SONY BRAVIA TV, STARTIMES, FREE TV DECODER, GOTV et cetera. The experience is awesome.

can you explain how u used the remote to control decoders.

Hi guys. So umm, which particular recent update is battery friendly and bug free for Note 4x/Note 4 global? I am kinda confused on which is best.

So there is no way one can keep preferred network on "3G Only" on Redmi 4X. I'm so so disappointed.

You can but not directly from settings.
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
A menu should appear. Select the sim you want to set to 3g only. Under "set preferred network type" select "WCDMA only".

Has anyone updated his redmi 4x to the latest MIUI9 v9.2.3.0?

My observations so far are :
Cons
1. I can't use 3rd party theme
2. I can't use 3rd party fonts
3. Battery backup is not really great. Still observing this.

Prons
1. The UI is really dope and performance is smooth

If u have updated yours, kindly drop your observations.

A tech analyst that wants to review note 4x in February 2018, when some are fully ready to review note 5 the moment it's dropped. He will review redmi 5plus by June 2019 and note 5 by December 2019

You can use the pull down menu, quick ball, or the normal power button and volume up combo. For those in developer rom, there is the alternative to use any of the navigation buttons
To use quick ball: settings - Additional settings-Quick ball

Go to Settings, Navigate to 'Additional settings' - 'Buttons and Gestures' - 'Take screenshot'
Choose your choice. I personally use the Three finger swipe dow and the Power+Volume down button works by default.

I purchased an LCD screen from aliexpress but it turned out the screen quality was bad and the back button not working. I've opened a dispute and the seller is asking I return it to get a full refund. Does anyone have an idea of the average cost of sending items to China?
