You can use the pull down menu, quick ball, or the normal power button and volume up combo. For those in developer rom, there is the alternative to use any of the navigation buttons
To use quick ball: settings - Additional settings-Quick ball

Three finger swipe down and viola

Setting > Additional Settings > Screenshot > Slide three fingers to take a screenshot.

Go to Settings, Navigate to 'Additional settings' - 'Buttons and Gestures' - 'Take screenshot'
Choose your choice. I personally use the Three finger swipe dow and the Power+Volume down button works by default.

My observations so far are :
Cons
1. I can't use 3rd party theme
2. I can't use 3rd party fonts
3. Battery backup is not really great. Still observing this.

Prons
1. The UI is really dope and performance is smooth

Exactly... That's the MIUI9 v9.2.3.0 update for redmi 4x. I will advise other redmi 4x user not to update yet. The update consumes lot of battery.

My bro. I dont even know aw to start. My phones back den ranged from HTC One models to Samsung. Buh wen recession hit me and my HTC One E8 got spoilt, was wondering which phones to buy apart from HTC/Samsung. Came accross this thread and stated my preferences. Guy, Noboody and GPtech advised me to go for Xaiomi Redmi 5 ➕. I ordered from Noboody and i can say again and again, i will stick with Xaiomi phones. Sleek, smooth, not the typical china phone u will see upandan.

Allow the battery to drain to 1% then charge it
