Who was Oliseh before his Super Eagles callup?

What of Julius Aghahowa?

There are many that shows the National team is a building/grooming ground for quality talents. What of Omeruo?

As at 1993 when Oliseh had his debut for Nigeria he was in his 3rd season at RFC Liege of Belgium. So he was no green horn in the game.

As at 2000 when Julius Aghahowa was included in the AFCON team, he had featured at the U20 WC in 1999 ( which is a lot more competitive than the U17) where he shone brightly. And he had moved from Bendel insurance to Esparance De Tunis.

The only record Osimhen has going for him is at his U17. I have not seen any other thing he has done after that that is worthy of he being invited to the Super Eagles.

Now, that he is the Wolfsburg Senior team, let us see him score goals before we talk of including him in the team.

I recon more with players that shine at the U20 than at the U17.

Enyeama and Kameni don't really belong to the same era. So difficult to judge.
I think they do, Just that kameni didn't last long for Cameroon, I think he retired early

On Ighalo, here is my PERSONAL view with some stat.

ODION IGHALO is not yet a Sure Starter in the GWG. Dude gets lot of competitions.

The notion that he is the First Choice Striker is pure Fallacy.

Under Rohr, Ighalo only made the bench ONCE in Rohr's first 5-6 games. Kelechi and Ideye(he led once alongside KI against Zamb) were the ones leading Eagles attack. Kelechi went on to score in 4 of those matches.

Odion was recalled after the defeat to SA to re-inforce the attack and he scored against Cameroon in the 4-0 win going on to feature in two more games ending with the 1-0 win against Zambia in Uyo without scoring.

*3matches 1goal*

He started those games because of Kelechi's loss in form.

The truth of the matter is that Dude will have to FIGHT to get back to the starting 11 and If KI hits and continues in his top form. I see the fight becoming fiercer.

Note: Don't forget Nacho brings another skill set into the team-HIS FREEKICKs and that will always be a plus for a team who lacks specialist in dead ball kicks and that alone can give him d edge over Odion.

I don't have anything against any player but the truth I must say. Though it might be too hard to swallow.

O PARI!
I like the way you used fact to burst the burgeoning myth that Ighalo will stroll into this team. Stroll? How? When he was out in the cold until the Cameroun double header? He can make the team but not as lightly as some seem to paint it.

He can replace Balogun or Ekong if needed.

Eye for a pass, confident, good on his feet and fast. Better on the ball than Ekong, faster than Balogun.

Balogun needs to start playing regularly to be in good shape.

I'm not so confident about Balogun anymore. And its not even his footballing qualities. He panics sometimes. Ekong is not a good passed of the ball but he's always confident.

That's how someone CONFIDENTLY said we would win
Argentina and he was laughed to scorn
Hmmm this world is mysterious ooo. Truth even if reason tells me Nigeria cannot win the WC, secretly my heart believes we can win.

This place is gradually turning to a creepy theatrical home where the most queer of opinions are dropped.

Yesterday I read a post from a certain Andrew calling one of the most coveted U20 defenders(Uduokhai) in Europe's top five leagues bellow average.

Today, forgiveness came with a bang, it reads "if Iorfa and Ilori of all defenders, turn up, Awaziem's (another top, highly rated and coveted U20 defender in one of Europe's top five leagues) place in Eagles is up for grabs.

Don't even know how best to describe "Somehow's" opinion when he ignorantly seconded Andrew's assertion whereas he didn't even know who uduokhai was neither had he seen him play, next, he showed how bereft he was of the info about the guy in question when he became comic by alluding that Uduokhai was same person as Akpoguma.

Either of this two "Andre and somehow" even asked that we allow the FBs become world class before we poach them, lol I was like Chai, just the way we allowed Alaba and Dele Alli become world class abi? Besides, our team is filled with world class players grin people and their opinions sef grin

U people are too much and I must commend those who take their time to quote and correct this kinda people with weird opinions. Left for me, na to just read and pass grin

forgiveness:

Will the world end after the WC? I don't know but we are saying catch them now before they become better players.

Manuel - Akanji is already gone and we we e cannot afford to miss these ones, especially Uduokhai, Ilori and Adarabioyo because they are exceptional good.

However, going to the world Cup, if Akpoguma, Uduokhai and Adarabioyo agrees to play for Nigeria then it is certainly certain that Awaziem and Kenneth Omeruo's place are up for grab
.

What this guy quoted and what I said, na same?

The world should judge.

So disappointed Enyeama didn’t get a club this transfer window. If the goal keeping crisis isn’t resolved before the World Cup, we will be out before the third game.

My man you have not answer his question. He said how many games did Iwobi played before making his Eagles debut.

What he was trying to say is that we should not wait till they become household name before we cap them.If we didn't decide on Iwobi early enough honestly we would have seen him in three Lions jersey just like Dele Ali.

If Enyeama is not forthcoming then we concentrate on Ezenwa,Uzoho,Ajiboye,i can't really say much on Maduka cos i see him more of Uzoho and Alampasu, group of rookies, honestly the situation looks dicey.

Apart from Ezenwa, Faleye, Itodo and Ifeanyi, everyone else is ready to go. Peter Eneji is back recovered and ready to go in the finals. Taking an injured player to a tournament is one of the biggest gambles I have ever heard of in football but if he plays a big role tomorrow Salisu and his crew will look like geniuses I guess.

The players should not feel that they have done enough because that would be a disservice to themselves. I have always maintained that what most these African leagues have over us is their management and not their players. Our boys must know their worth and go for gold. Our WAFU cup defeat to Ghana all of a sudden becomes a blessing in disguise because our guys would not want to relive that nightmare again.

The pressure that had followed the Super Eagles since our draw against Rwanda has suddenly transferred to Morocco. IMO if their game against Libya had gone into PKs they would have lost because barring their goals they really played nonsense. Our boys will thrive under much lesser pressure being that most feel that making it this far is fair enough. We shall defeat Morocco.
Thanks for the info,my man am with you tomorrow cos you really showed what patriotism is all about
