Manchester City starlet Tosin Adarabioyo at centre of tug-of-war between England and Nigeria

Manchester City starlet Tosin Adarabioyo is at the centre of an international tug-of-war between England and Nigeria.
The highly-rated central defender has been tipped for senior international honours and represented England juniors all the way up to Under-19 level.
However, the 20-year-old is being targeted by Nigeria, his country of heritage.

Adarabioyo was made available for loan by City during the final 48 hours of the transfer window following the signing of Aymeric Laporte.
But a deal failed to materialise with the youngster named on the bench by Pep Guardiola for City’s win over West Brom on Wednesday night.
The Super Eagles had planned to watch Adarabioyo play sustained senior football before deciding whether to tempt him with a place in their World Cup squad.

The highly-rated central defender has represented England all the way up to Under-19 level
Nevertheless, Nigeria’s concrete interest in Adarabioyo remains, leaving the Football Association in a fight to keep hold of the defender, who has made seven first-team appearances for City.

Nigeria have successfully persuaded Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi, who have both played for England at junior level, to change their international allegiance in recent years.
Players are only fully committed to a nation once they’ve played a competitive fixture.

Ndidi got denied a goal, don't know why!! It was another assist from Iheanacho...I'm also surprised the goalie saved nachos 12yard shot..I would have expected him to finish that .

Iheanacho is having a good game. No goal yet but has been involved in lots of Leicester's better moves. Got an assist; could have been two but the other goal was ruled out for offside. Hopefully, this performance should convince Puel that our boy deserves more playing.

CON... cheesy

On Chief Icon4s' kind permission.... grin

Iheanacho's passing accuracy in the final third stands at 86% so far, the highest for any player on the pitch on both sides.... Impressive.

Ndidi leads in recoveries so far, also among the top tacklers on both sides... He has also been involved in lots of passes. Doing good.

I am sure we want all our players to be sure starters, Shehu coming all the way from Cyprus to come and bench Agu isn't good for the SE. Meanwhile I have been corrected that he was suspended

Wait, what if Shehu did actually displace Agu why would you say it is not good for the SE? Is Shehu not part of the Super Eagles or what are you trying to say?

Well, he did score two goals as a no.9 though.... But yep, he is mostly shambolic upfront. Misses 10, scores 1. He's got poor conversion ratio.

Nacho's day is over.... Replaced by Demarai Gray. Good game he had and bagged a beautiful assist. Showed fine class in that one moment. Well done. Not bad for a return to the starting lineup in the EPL.

Keep working your socks off Nacho man. More games to come.

Hahahahahahahahaha..... Look at those two fans at Peterborough's... One is a lady gnashing, face covered and feeling like chopping Nacho's head off after his second goal that day... The other is a man looking so pissed.

That is similar to how the opposition party is when Nacho does well.... So no be new thing.... grin

Sir, do you have comprehension problem or you just want to quote people out of context?

can you prove or show me where i requested or demanded that anyone must be world class before he can be called to play for us?

Secondly, because i mixed up the name of the player i was discussing with Tbaba means i am ignorant? are they both not playing in German league? are they both not defenders? are they both not being listed here as players we should call to the NT to replace those already there?

Please if its likes you're looking for, i will gladly give you 2000 of it, but stop trying to sound clever by being abusive or insulting with your write up. i can go same route but everyone can't be mad at the same time.

someone corrected me yesterday and i acknowledged the mix up, but your "made up mind" jumped that part because you already had what to type in mind.

please stay your line and don't let us turn this place upside down. everybody get him own 5 minutes madness!
ChrisKels:
This place is gradually turning to a creepy theatrical home where the most queer of opinions are dropped.

Yesterday I read a post from a certain Andrew calling one of the most coveted U20 defenders(Uduokhai) in Europe's top five leagues bellow average.

Today, forgiveness came with a bang, it reads "if Akpoguma and Adarabioyo of all defenders, turn up, Awaziem's (another top, highly rated and coveted U20 defender in one of Europe's top five leagues) place in Eagles is up for grabs.

Don't even know how best to describe "Somehow's" opinion when he ignorantly seconded Andrew's assertion whereas he didn't even know who uduokhai was neither had he seen him play, next, he showed how bereft he was of the info about the guy in question when he became comic by alluding that Uduokhai was same person as Akpoguma.

Either of this two "Andre and somehow" even asked that we allow the FBs become world class before we poach them, lol I was like Chai, just the way we allowed Alaba and Dele Alli become world class abi? Besides, our team is filled with world class players grin people and their opinions sef grin

U people are too much and I must commend those who take their time to quote and correct this kinda people with weird opinions. Left for me, na to just read and pass grin

Modified.

If you cant prove the bolded here, you must apologize to me or else i will TURN here upside down! accusation (false) is what i don't take likely.

let him be invited and tried...
he don't have to be in the feet of nesta or maldini before we call him good enough..

this a player wit so much potential....right now we can get him play for Nigeria and not to start going after him when he becomes a man city regular....trying to reap where we have not sown...
