The team needs players that can hold the ball and won't lose it, and even if they did they will try to win it back. What we should be working on instead is our off the ball runs. It's too poor abeg

Would be pretty neat if Martial adapts to playing on the right and becomes as effective as he is on the left. Important clean sheet tho.

Apart from few players like Carzola and Azplicueta who can cross with both legs, few players who are right-footed can cross with their left leg. That's why it's good to have a left-footed LB to play behind Sanchez for the crosses while he tries to stretch opponents and cause havoc for us.

This was why I complained bitterly about us playing a right footed Young or Darmian as our LB coz they can't cross one-time football when they are given a through ball. So Sanchez not crossing immediately wouldn't have been out of order. Mata wouldn't have crossed that ball immediately he's on the right wing. No surprises there. Sanchez is giving us exactly what he's supposed to give us, though there's room for improvement.

Sanchez is a terrific player. His work rate and energy are off the charts.

I feel Mourinho asked the defenders not to push forward too much, at some point, I was screaming at Smalling and Rojo to push up as they had acres of space in front of them.
