Hello house, please is it safe for me to update my Redmi Note 4X from MIUI 8 to MIUI 9.2.1.0. I hear so much about battery issues on MIUI v9. I want to know if it's safe, thanks in advance.
Even the reported poor battery is not actually poor, not just up to what many persons are now used to. Some persons updated and have experienced good battery backup.

What is d solution of d fake global rom sellers on aliexpress are installing on d redmi 5/5+?

I read dat d only solution is to open d phone n bridge 2 circuit to put d phone on edl mode so official stable fastboot rom can be flashed wit miflash tool cos d bootloader cant be unlocked on d current fake rom.

Any other solution yet?

Rename the recovery file i.e TWRP, Redwolf etc. you downloaded to 'recovery.img' and copy and paste to that adb folder.
Then, retry the command and report back.

Na 4G sim you dey use? If yes, I don't think you have a choice, just leave it there coz if you try 'LTE only' you will be unable to receive calls

If not, lock the thing to 'WCDMA only' if you want stable 3G/HSDPA.

My HSPA/DPA is stable.
I'm concerned about 4G. Do I need a separate 4G sim for Airtel and MTN, even in areas where there's 4G coverage?

Last I checked Airtel never get 4G for Nigeria, as for MTN you will need a new sim that is 4G enabled except if your present sim is already 4G enabled then you won't need a new one, the only thing required will be 4G coverage in your location.

You can but not directly from settings.
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
A menu should appear. Select the sim you want to set to 3g only. Under "set preferred network type" select "WCDMA only".
Thanks. I will give it a shot

And I hear Nigeria deliveries too are also within 2 weeks.......

Is African Express the real name of courier service? Tried to track it on one of those sites that auto detect but African Express is not turning up.
