I've always been an avid critic of the Big Brother franchise, even though I never really watched the show. My unemployment and lack of activity in 2018 presented an opportunity to actually sit down to watch the show.

First of all, we are all f****** hypocrites. Some people say the show promotes immorality and sh**. Big brother or not, we are a bunch of immoral people. From the politicians to religious leaders down to the unemployed citizen. In this age, immorality is all around us in the movies we watch, the music we listen to, the clubs we go to, the churches we attend, the slay queens and kings we interact with in the cyberspace and real life, the clothes we wear, the drugs we use, the crimes we've committed and so on and so forth.

The truth is that if I wasn't so idle, I sure as hell wouldn't have the time to watch the show. That doesn't mean I can't come clean and say Big brother isn't both intriguing and obsessive. Please and please if you don't like the show just skip any topic with the BBNaija hash tag. There's no point wasting your time talking about something you don't like.

Many of us would jump at an opportunity of a 30-day indoor vacation with prospects of promiscuity even without the prize money. (You know this truth)

Most people come on Nairaland to break boredom, get educated, learn new things, or interact.

We all have T.Vs at home, and BB shitt is aired daily. So why do you visit your favorite forum, and discover that the FP has been littered with something you already know of.

Imagine a non football fan, coming online and getting bugged with so many football updates in a day.

The best is to create a BBN fan thread, where gossips can go on, and leave the sanity of our FP clean.

Imagine a girl scratching her butt, and you see it as a news on FP. Like WTF?

Watch at home! Create a fan page thread, and let it keep the fans busy.

Imagine you get repeated updates about several football news in a day on FP, how would you feel as a non football fan?

A lot of nairalanders are hypocrites. Some of them don't even watch the show but they will come here and say it's porn. Nairalanders like herd mentality, they all tend to follow one direction and whoever has a different opinion is tagged a fool. Not a fan of BBN but not a critic either, different people with different ways of hustling. A housemate was 25m rcher 9 months ago while some people have been shouting porn and olosho since 2007 and yet they still remain in one place. Someone is about to be 45m richer while others are going to get endorsements and recognition that will better their lives yet the people shouting olosho since 2007 can't boast of 50k.

Some girls can fvck and suck a stranger's d!ck for just 5k yet they will judge people that left their families for a platform to better their lives. Bunch of hypocrites. I don't even see any why they call this thing porn because its not. Agreed housemates are adults and have the freedom to do whatever they like but there are limits and rules. Meanwhile the show is rated 18 clearly written on the screen, and some people calling it porn are die hard game of thrones fans and many of them will be the first to rush to the cinemas whenever a new 50 shades movie gets released.

Whether the winner affects my hustle or not is not important, do u know if I have a relative or close friend in the house? To be frank I hate when I come to this segment and see many different BBN topics, some even repetitions and useless.

Ummm.... Have u ever seen me comment on any useless BBN topic like someone scratching her butt? Guy you have spoken my mind.. What made majority of us join nairaland is disappearing.. This is not Linda ikeji blog where nonsense news hits fp.. Nairaland is made of many professionals not just Gossip fans.. These days fp is beginning to lack content.. I can scroll from top to bottom of fp and not find any interesting topic to open.. It's days are diminishing and seun thinks he is doing good.. .
