Rohr na baba!
Thanks to Amaju for appointing him.

This Salisu, as I have always said is not competent. Dude has nothing to offer.

No be only Uzoho na. My point is Uzoho will need enough of those high profile games.

Amuneke and Siasia will have been better options working under Rohr.
This is not a verdict based on today’s result alone.

Shukusheka:
Naaah, he made the right decision to bring in Okpotu for Ogbuh he only did it too early. Since we were short of a man Salisu should have ensured the team was more compact and not concede more goals, once it gets to the 70th minute or so when Moroccan defence is tiring he should have then brought in Okpotu to push the attack forward.

Nope, wrong strategy.

Ogbuh offers pace if you get a counter opportunity. There was no offensive outlet when he was removed.

Okpotu should have replaced Gabriel instead.

we had 23 shots against Rwanda. some people were shouting that was something to take home..

today they hammered us 26 shots scoring four times..this is not a way to end a tournament. this is something we will have to take home!!

You mean typical Nigerian home based side.

Kalapizim:
poor selection is also part of it, bottom line is aside the Jersey they had on, they never looked like a typical Nigerian side.

Now, just imagine if that Sudan game was the only one Ajiboye kept goal.

What would have been the feeling tonight if Ezenwa was the one that conceded those 4goals.

Ajiboye had his own test today.

I am still my humble self. I don't trust any player that is not tested.

Uzoho must be given full 90mins in the game against Serbia.

Sudan CHAN team has been unbeaten for years. If not for Ajiboye, we would have lost comfortably.

Against Sudan everybody was singing Ajiboye's name. He did try by bringing us to the final.

Ezenwa may have his own lapses but he is far better than the lots.

Ajiboye lacks simple AWARENESS. He can't even spot the run and positions of opponents in his front. He contributed to 2 of those goals.

No wonder Rohr said he is not in his plan. Rohr has Insight. Ajiboye is not SEs quality.

@bolded. Yea we really need to take the true lessons home. We were not even good enough for the finals. Something for Amaju to think about. As DRLikita rightly suggested, there are things The NFF can control although our bigger problem is the Nigerian problem.

I doubt that very much.... because we cannot work with "what if". Ezenwa collected four at the wafu... Ajiboye collects four at the CHAN.... Rohr will go with just one between them.. Trust me. wink

It's not about how many goals you chop, it's how you take chop am. grin

From what i saw tonight, Ajiboye is better than Ezenwa.

His positioning, ability to read the the game and reflexes are superior to that of Ezenwa. If he has better defenders covering him, we are good to go.

But me no wan see any of those keeper for post if Enyeama gets playing time.

those boys are not the best in our leagues(NPFL & NNL). The defence was just wack. No coordination, no strategy, no organisation nothing nothing.

We suffered humilation in the hands of a decent side.

Keepers are not screened only from training pitches where the atmosphere is a relaxed one.

The real match day Scenarios remains the best.

Well, it us really interesting how just one game can decide a Goalie's fate....

Uzoho's second half clean sheet vs "World class" Argentina... He is Rohr's favorite as he got all the ingredients and the height too despite a few flasws here and there normal for young goalies...

Alampasu.... Yet to play but hebis in the picture on the basis of having worked under Rohr and observed at close quarters and certified a super potential for us too. His height is also there.

Okoye.... We will see more of him if Rohr invites him. For now he remains an unknown.

Ezenwa.... That wafu Cup final was a real dent. That Algeria game too. But he did good against Cameroun and Zambia. He was a decent upgrade on Akpeyi. He is in with a great shot of making the final 23 but not as First choice.

Ajiboye... Vs Sudan... He seems to have won our attention and calls being made to consider him for the WC GK options

But Vs Morocco.... Ouuucchh... He was unfortunately in goal for that massacre.

I am bold to say Rohr will pick just one between Ajiboye and Ezenwa... Mark my words.

The favorites for our friendlies to determine the final 3 Goalies are Uzoho surely, Ezenwa surely, Alampasu possibly, Okoye maybe.... Akpeyi nope, Ajiboye unlikely.

I stick to my words I’ve given up on Enyema. He is not going to meet Rohr’s conditions.

I thought a few days ago you said Ajiboye was better.

This is what happens when you conclude from just one game.

EMOTIONAL YOU CALL IT?

How do you explain a keeper who keep serving the opponent goals on a platter of gold. He was busy punching the balls down to their feet as if it is a drill section in training.

Ezenwa is ahead of them all.#fact.

The funny thing is none of our home based goalkeepers might make it to the WC Mundial.

I have said this before. WC isn't WAFU or CHAN where you make costly errors

And also, If any Nigerian member of our technical crew appears incompetent, they should be shown the exit door ASAP

Ajiboye's shot stopping was still on point today despite the four conceeded... He is a fantastic shot stopper unquestionably. But he is poor aerially and this is where Both Uzoho and Alampasu trumps him. Both are also very decent shot stoppers.

As for Ezenwa... The problem is this. I agree Ajiboye is slightly better but I forsee Rohr picking Ezenwa ahead of Ajiboye. Why? because of the WC qualifiers test Ezenwa passed.

Oga. Also read the post I replied. Maybe I should have put a quote to it.

The stats are not favoring Ajiboye. But a bad defense can make a keeper really look bad. I consider them in the same league with the World Cup in view. I’ve been saying it I don’t trust our home based keepers.

that's why I had to restrain myself from joining the train after his heroics as reported against Sudan.

Na so de want Uzoho to take charge because of his performance in 45min.

Ahead doesn’t mean far better or better. Ahead means having the most chances and more in consideration as regards SE. But that could change after Poland, if Uzoho does it again.
