Hello House I just started this journey and I am getting discouraged already. Few friends and Family have been saying I would never practice my profession when I get over there. They said the best I would get are menial jobs. Some say it takes years to work as an engineer or a medical doctor. They said it’s like going to the university again. So my fears This is a skilled entry program So why would I not continue my profession over there? Please can anyone shed more lights? People that live Canada now through this program, how is life for you now? How has it been in the past years Thanks . |

rolled:. Absolutely not true..."best you would get are menial jobs?" Really?? For occupations like medicine or engineering, you have to write their own exams to practise in Canada. |

rolled: Don't be discouraged. People fear what they don't know or are jealous of. Its normal in regulated professions that you have to take some professional exams before being able to practice. You just need to keep your eyes on the goal. Loosing 1 or 2 years or even more while waiting to pass those exams might seem like a lot but in the end ask yourself, will it be worth it? If the answer is yes then go ahead. Some that started the process years ago are already fully settled and practicing now. I know if many Nigerian trained lawyers and doctors in Canada now practicing. Focus on their success stories... 2 Likes |

You cant determine your fate based on other people's opinion of you. Their claims are just assumptions and are false. People always discourage when they cannot do it themselves or they have done it and failed, then go on to assume it cannot be done. Bro, if you can do your own personal research, read and understand the process, I can guarantee you wont regret it at all. If you believe you, you are right. If you believe you cant, you are also right. rolled: 5 Likes |

You do not need a PCC for cumulative stay less than 180 days. The 4- month stay does not qualify. I think you need to buy an ink pad, like the type they use in conjunction with stamps. This is from my little wisdom so you can wait for others to weigh in. One thing I noticed though, the female PCC form is different from the male so please take note. QSola: 2 Likes |

One more question please. Is it advisable to get my PCC done before I receive ITA? Getting my transcript sent to WES Canada shouldn't be a problem as the document will be sent from UK. I am expected to get police clearance from Nigeria and the UK. Just want to get my documents ready before entering the pool. My CRS is currently at 458. Thanks. 1 Like |

happytbaby: Please what makes the form different? is it the fact we have to write FE at the top in addition to the MALE? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by smslive2: 4:52pm On Feb 05, 2018 |
You can start processing your UK PCC now as long as you are no longer in the UK and you do not intend to visit the UK before you submit your application. You can always get your Nigeria PCC a day to your submission... To get PCC in Nigeria is like 'Plug and Play'.... McNoelle: 1 Like |

I just feel like flogging some people asking some kind questions here. What is happening? Where did we get it wrong? Please i encourage us to read, read and read. Others have stressed the need to read. It makes it easier for one to even understand the process. I'm just tired. 13 Likes |
