My point exactly, there are SF assets on ground looking for him and he's still elusive. BHT can be contained but they'll need to be destroyed from the inside.

Yes. But SF will need a good Intel to execute their missions. ELINT will compliment HUMINT on ground.

I just feel, why can't the airforce perform ISR coverage of all bokoharam territories? According to them, they have control of most areas now leaving just little to bokoharam. How are they still able to launch massive attacks on villages?
The whole thing sounds funny.

A long endurance UAV will save cost. That's what nemesis4u advised. If you spend 50# on 10 long endurance UAV together fly for 8 hours, I'm sure you'll cover over 3000km in a day.

How many territory does BHT control 3000km radius? Plus you can't spend near such among on the UAV.

You still haven't gotten my point; we can but "we" don't see the importance of it.

Maybe we need to start seeing the benefits. In my opinion, some actions are not taken into consideration due to limited manpower and resources.

What's your own opinion towards the BHT menace?

I'm an ardent supporter of psy-ops...whenever we "misplace" munitions or weapons we rig them to explode...use SF assets to create the impression of ghosts, harass their bases with SF infiltrations and take out key commanders then follow it up with arty and CBU 100s from our Alphas...pick up that Mama BH and that cookie reporter and hold them incommunicado.

In essence make them doubt themselves and their leaders, make them unsure of their equipment, food and medicines.

Intercept their fuel suppliers and taint them, put laxatives in their food, drop information about their captured members having HIV...

Those places are rigged wIth land mines so majority of SF ops will get blown before commencement.

I have a family friend who's a colonel. He said after the chibok girls were kidnapped, they were waiting for the order to get them which didn't come out within 24hrs. He said since such order didn't come out within that time frame, going into the enemy territory just like that will be dangerous as everywhere will be filled wIth landmines.

My own suggestion is this, look at that attack on the crashed helicopter site. Wish our guys had rigged explosive in that environment before they left. BHT would have been left with casualties.

Means we have either a poor Intel collecting method or theirs is better.

INDIGENES COMMENDS MILITARY FOR RESTORING PEACE TO DIKWA EMIRATE

Dikwa was one of the local governments captured in 2014 and was under the control of Boko Haram terrorists – thousands of innocent civilians were affected during the period; resulting into tremendous humanitarian crisis. Some fled their homes while a lot of people were killed. The town was recaptured late 2015 in a strategic mission accomplished by the Nigerian army and Nigerian Airforce operating in tandem. Today with the presence of 22 Armoured brigade and other adjoining units; Dikwa has become a home once again for her people.

The Nigerian military have been commended by Dikwa indigenes for restoring peace to Dikwa Emirate - most of whom returned home from all across the country; mostly south west and south south region of Nigeria.

The Brigade Commander, Brigade General John Ochai who received some of the returnees on Monday 5th January 2018 said, ‘this is a testament that peace has come to stay in Dikwa and its environs; our commitment to protect you from all forms of aggression is absolute. We have orders from our government to protect you – orders that are consistent with our national protocols. Protecting you and your properties is our main priority’. He further added that, they should inform others still living abroad to return home.

One of the returnee Modu Umaru who came from Ondo State said, Dikwa has returned back to her former glory; a town free of oppressive and violence. Modu also said, he is going back to Ondo to bring his properties. He thanked the Commander for receiving them and he promised, they will abide by the rules guiding Dikwa and Borno State.

You are please requested to disseminate this information through your medium to the general public.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Just answer this and u will have ur answer , who r the foot soldiers of intelligence agencies ?

We r under the false illusion that activities of intelligence agencies on the ground r done by their personnel. One rare cases yes but majority of times by..............

Let's see who can answer this.

You can't have a blanket answer to such question, each country have its own way of carrying out intelligence work

to defeat RCIED triggered explosives

due to to the power available vehicle borne jammers r able to operate over a large frequency like VHF/UHF bands, GSM/CDMA, UMTS and Wi Fi frequency bands etc.

plus based on intel inputs can explicitly jam a frequency range of specific interest.

will require manual intervention , no other alternative

sniffer dogs , explosive detectors etc will have to be used to screen every individual before letting them close to the VIP.

Based at Inshas along with the Thunderbolt. We get a look at the Para's training infrastructure. The infrastructure dedicated to jump training is fundementally sound.

The suspension raised helicopter is actually a very good tool for rope training.

Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by bidexiii: 11:07am On Feb 07, 2018
We also got a look at a virtual reality based training asset. Something that may be a recent addition for the Egyptians, but a sign of an educational system that produces well trained parachutists.

Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by bidexiii: 11:08am On Feb 07, 2018
However, while specialist infrastructure is pretty good those dedicated to fundemental soldiering skills are very lacking. Especially for Special Operations Forces.

Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by bidexiii: 11:09am On Feb 07, 2018
Their only range does not give many looks except steel targets, without much distance to work with. Kill houses are unchangeable, don't offer ballistic protection, so can't offer realistic training enviroments.

While adept at jumping, relatively are poor infantrymen/assualters

Also from tasks of the naval special forces is to secure the gas fields ,coasts,& prevent attempts to infiltrate in addition to securing the Suez Canal in full in conjunction with air force / B.G.F / the 2nd and 3rd armies & police .
