I even want the name Nigeria changed self. Doesn't make any sense.
BascoVanVeli:

I wonder what it takes to get something officially recognized. We should make Naija official because it actually comes from us, Nigeria was coined by some dead white lady if we are being honest.

Wait. So Ikouwem is 18?

Another revelation from the CHAN tournament.

Look at Faleye and Enegi, 19 and 18 respectively and we say CHAN should not be for discovery of young talents.

Anyways Flying Eagles loading.... for them.

Sincere Seth too has stepped up in Turkey. Another good prospect for the Flying Eagles.

It's simple he had a great WC qualifier and picked as the best Africa CB though he had average game against Zambia and not too good match against Argentina which normally happened sometimes but notwithstanding he still remain number one defender on Rohr' s plan.
Balogun wasn't 'picked'. I believe (if I recall correctly) that it was a Cameroonian journalist who- on the strength of Balogun's fine performance in the double header - expressed the opinion that Balogun is the finest CB defender in Africa. Remember he made CAF team just once. And it was Ekong rather than him who was included in the initial 50 players nominated for the APOTY

I got mixed feelings about the jerseys... I love the white-lightgreen-black

But the dark green looks like it is Cameronian green. That is not our national green. Well shaa... It does look intimidating though.... Loooollll... Guess we cannot change it? So we accept it...

I know this does not look like our Nigerian Green (the one on Mikel). It looks more Cameroonian green to me I admit....... Butttt hey, I find it having a pretty intimidating effect on opponents. It looks kinda dark and mysterious... I think we can manage that. I give it 80% wink

But the white-lightgreen is on point. cool 100% perfecto.. Muuuaaahhh! kiss

I love the green home jersey..it's crystal glaring in such a way u can just use back eye and sight the rays of the jersey hence easy distribution of passes. .

the away navy blue is kinda unique in its own but it's dark but all the Same

they 're all top notch...kudos to the pinnick led board..I hope it brings us luck the more..

I wouldn't call that person a quack because the sky is the limit for Victor Osimhen.

So as not to cause offence, what do you mean by the Sky is the limit?

Over the years I have seen promising players at top academies, who promised but never delivered. Every now and again you see a player and you go YES.

Like the first time I saw Rooney play and even before he had his debut. Nigerian players in Everton had told me this small boy deh use us play. Then o knew the Sky was the limit for him.

First time I saw Pogba as an U18 player I knew then this guy was QUALITY. I could go on and on. But you must now be able get my approach. And as such understand my question in context.

So I look at players in comparison to what other players are doing. I can also be very wrong too. I remember first time I met Raheem, ( very respectful boy) I thought he can't make it in English football. We use the same barber and his feet could not touch the ground he was that short and far from muscular. But I was totally wrong.

That's football.

Loogan:

Comparing him to drogba does not mean he is drogba or at his level. He's young, has potential they share very similar style of play and it's like saying osinmeh is a young drogba, and it's not far fetched, they actually share similar style.
He played one full game and you sound like you are angry people are praising him for getting his full 90min debut. nawa for this ur hate ooh. Nobody say make you no hate am but don't come and start venting ur hate here.

When people compared a young 18 year old Lukaku to Drogba. After watching him in one game it was clear why. Apart from the small matter he had ripped apart the Belgium league as a mere 16 year old.

So if you make that comparison is it wrong to expect to see a Hugh level of quality.

That's not HATE that's standard rational of the reasonable man to do otherwise and accept without question the comparison proposition that would be unwise.

So I said good, I will watch him tonight to see if I can see what some have said Drogba in the waiting.

We are trying to resurrect the dark side of our merciless attacking football... We wanna destroy and intimidate at the WC.

The first jersey {white and Light green) will try connect the players to the first golden generation of Nigerian football and their attempt to shock the world...

The second jersey (dark green) will look to bring out the team's dark and ruthless side in our quest to go further than the first golden generation....

I think I am beginning to feel both jerseys in new waves just by looking at it again and again.... I can't wait to see them wear it. March plsss come quickly...
