The green is actually the away kit

This is indeed beautiful

If this is true then Pinnick doesn't know what he is doing. None of these shades of green represents our Colour.

Besides, our away colour is typically white while the home colour is green.

You don't just wake up one day and change the home and away colours of a country.

In fact you may change the away colour but not the home colour.

Look at footballing nations all over the world , their home Jerseys are a symbol of their football pedigree. Look at England, Holland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Portugal, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, France etc. Even in Africa Egypt, Cameroon, Algeria, Morocco, SA, Zambia, CIV, Mali, Ghana, Guinea, Senegal, Gabon etc. Their jerseys are their identity.

Once you see them on the pitch they are easily recognized.

Pinnick should not in the name of fashion deface our football Identity.

Green is our home Jersey and white away. For the away he can chose black if he wants. But the home Jersey must be our national Green Color.

Wait. So Ikouwem is 18?

Another revelation from the CHAN tournament.

Look at Faleye and Enegi, 19 and 18 respectively and we say CHAN should not be for discovery of young talents.

Anyways Flying Eagles loading.... for them.

Sincere Seth too has stepped up in Turkey. Another good prospect for the Flying Eagles.

All of us dey talk jersey matter, but Chief Peter "Icon4s" Ogaba don dey reason next U-20s matter.... Na wa oooo...

We are trying to resurrect the dark side of our merciless attacking football... We wanna destroy and intimidate at the WC.

The first jersey {white and Light green) will try connect the players to the first golden generation of Nigerian football and their attempt to shock the world...

The second jersey (dark green) will look to bring out the team's dark and ruthless side in our quest to go further than the first golden generation....

I think I am beginning to feel both jerseys in new waves just by looking at it again and again.... I can't wait to see them wear it. March plsss come quickly...

ABI ooo. Can't wait to get myself one of both of them

So what do you think?

I think the jerseys are good to go.... Mikel loved it. Iheanacho was even rocking the hat... Iwobi was like cool

Both Nacho and Iwobi loved the outfit in the "pic below"... With Naija written stylishly at the back!

Mikel looked at the tracksuit leggings and said, "This is Nigeria/Nigerian"

Ndidi says it is nice and cultural.

Ndidi also says of the tracksuits I think... "the fans are gonna look for this..."

Iheanacho says of the black tracksuit and leggings, "I'm gonna rock this with black trainers or black shoes".

Iwobi was like... " I'm thinking White air force's" grin

Iwobi ended by saying, "They are gonna know Nigeria have arrived (in Russia)" cheesy

So dad... I think you got to calm down and just enjoy the new wind of change.... wink We are not going for fashion parade but we also gotta look classy and intimidating. Somebody compared him to Drogba.

Yea I did Oga!! Please go watch that game against hannover..his attributes is moving in that direction...I just wish his coach would be able to trust him and play him..

I know Liverpool inserted a clause in Origi's loan that he must play at least 80% of their games( I stand to be corrected)..so I understand why origi would always bench osimhen..contractual agreements need to be respected..

One thing I know for sure, if Osimhen can keep duplicating that kind of form, it won't be long b4 he starts banging goals in the bundesliga..

Not that I like the Jersey but there's nothing that cannot be changed. No condition is permanent. I read one time about the history of the England football kit. They've changed several times. Even Brazil in 2002 changed. There's nothing sacrosanct about home or away color to the extent they can't be changed

I would not take anything from that website seriously!! They fabricate their news, some agents pay them to hype players on their website..so any news from ANS is most likely bullshit..

Don't understand if some of this websites don't know the meaning of CREDIBILITY!! Allnigeriasoccer and OGN are websites with little credibility..

Yeah I agree with you.
WC is now an encompassing global cultural event. Yes, fashion is part of it although the main thing is football. Recall that in previous WCs there was nothing like a musical opening ceremony but it's now so much a part of the opening ceremony. What about the Fanfest introduction in 2006,to take the WC from the stadiums into the cities with music, comedy, and all sorts as part of the Fanfest.

When people compared a young 18 year old Lukaku to Drogba. After watching him in one game it was clear why. Apart from the small matter he had ripped apart the Belgium league as a mere 16 year old.

So if you make that comparison is it wrong to expect to see a Hugh level of quality.

That's not HATE that's standard rational of the reasonable man to do otherwise and accept without question the comparison proposition that would be unwise.

So I said good, I will watch him tonight to see if I can see what some have said Drogba in the waiting.
Just watch him play without bias, he is talented, dimata was on the bench when he played 90mins.
Be to sincere I don't see Lukaku like drogba. Drogba had more flair and technic, I feel they only share physicality. Drogba was a complete striker, anyone who has watched osinhem knows he's a complete striker with incredible goal scoring ability, a wonderful talent, he has a record you know 10goals in the Fifa U-17...
And you make it look like it's so easy to be bench of a regular bundesliga team, it's is very hard. Obasi, micheal hector(Chelsea), once commented on how hard it was to make it in the German league, so for a 20year old he's not doing bad atall.

That our new home jersey looks just like our flag..green-white-green..nothing wrong with it..with regards to the away jersey(solid dark green), too be honest it looks aesthetically better than most of our past jersies..

At least I can't wait to start ordering for those jersey, they are fashionable not some cheaply made color riot jersies we always had in the past..

Nike reveal dazzling new Nigeria kits for World Cup campaign

Sports manufacturers Nike have revealed the new Nigeria kits ahead of the Super Eagles' World Cup campaign.
Nike Football shared a video on their official YouTube channel which reveals several of the national team's key men catching a first glimpse of the team's new attire.

In the 1 minute 20 second clip, Wilfred Ndidi, John Obi Mikel, Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho are shown giving their verdict on what is a dazzling offering from Nike.

"I can see the players going crazy over this one," Mikel said when he was shown the national side's home shirt, in Nigeria's famous dark green with an eye-catching neon logo.

The Nigeria National Team Collection for Naija's Super Eagles. pic.twitter.com/hSzkk06N4H - Heidi Burgett (@heidiburgett) February 7, 2018

The away kit, a neon and white retro design on the body, and dark green chevrons on a white background on the arms, received a more muted response.

"This is different, you know," Iwobi added, somewhat diplomatically, while Ndidi was a little more enthusiastic, claiming he just "couldn't wait" to get the kit on in Russia this summer.

Despite the mixed reaction, the kit's similarity to the iconic shirts worn by the nation's Golden Generation in their maiden World Cup campaign in the United States in 1994 should earn it major points for nostalgia among Super Eagles supporters.

"A constant in Nigeria is an endearing love of football," NFF President Amaju Pinnick, told Nike's official website. "When football is on, everything stops. The new Nike kit designs honour our federation's rich traditions. Moreover, they celebrate everything we relish about our culture."

"It's nice, it's cultural," says Wilfred Ndidi...somewhat unconvincingly.#Naija #soarsupereagles pic.twitter.com/ZMd3i9f9Tj - Ed Dove (@EddyDove) February 7, 2018

"With Nigeria, we wanted to tap into the attitude of the nation," added Dan Farron, Nike Football Design Director.
"We built this kit and collection based on the players' full identities.
"We started to see trends in attitude and energy connecting the athletes to music, fashion and more. They are part of a resoundingly cool culture."

According to the New Telegraph Online, Nike presented the kits to the Nigeria Football Federation at a ceremony in London on Wednesday.

Nigeria are using Nike as their kit manufacturer after having been fitted by Adidas for their last two World Cup campaigns - in 2010 and 2014.

They will wear the shirts for the first time on March 23 when they face Poland in a friendly in Warsaw.
Nigeria have been pitted against Croatia, Iceland and Argentina in World Cup Group D.
