Spain home us Red on Dark blue shorts, Away is all white.

I know and understand what you are saying. I am only speaking of what the materials will be out to do as regards the outer cold climate. If I go into details of where the heat absorbed by the material is going to, I will easily tell you it is being absorbed into the body.... The essence of the materials is to absorb heat and not let it be lost to the outer environ but instead have it moved to the body's surface to keep the players warm... It is a steadily continuous cycle.

In th case of light colored jerseys, a heat retention mechanism is definitely employed since bright colors are not natural absorbers of heat but deflectors of it. Don't mind my language of "heat retention" because ofcos the heat is moved to the body but I use it to describe what it does in not losing it to the outer environ but rather to the body it covers.

I don't want us to go too much into the physics of this because of the general house. I just want to drop one principle ; materials that easily absorb heat easily loss heat. Dark colours would easily absorb the heat (which would be cold temperature in the case of Russia) now losing the heat would mean the material transferring part of the heat into the human body. It doesn't directly retain the heat as you put it. What can isolate the body is maybe a particular membrane attached to the inner parts of the jerseys to insulate it from the human body. That is where the technology comes in.

It is a revers of the conditions for the light coloured Jerseys.

But no worries, cos I believe the Nike technology experts would have put all those into consideration.

Watched the game Schalke vs Wolfsburg to see the potential new striker for Nigeria.

Firstly, these two teams will struggle against mid range Championship teams. That's my as some would call it English game biased opinion. The game lacked intensity and outright pace.

Osimhen came on for 10 minutes could not do anything outstanding in such little time, that's the excuse I make for him.

I will be watching Liepzig vs Augsburg on Friday evening. I expect Lookman to be outstanding in this league. That's again my biased English football based opinion.

On loan Roma forward Sadiq Umar had a debut to remember for Dutch side NAC Breda scoring and claiming an assist in their 6-1 thrashing of Heracles in the Dutch Eredivisie.

The Nigerian who joined the team last week from Torino in Italy, where he was on loan during the first stanza of the 2017 / 2018 league opened his goal account for his new side in the 83rd minute following his introduced in the 80th minute.

One minute after coming on for Mitchelle te Vrede,he claimed an assist by setting up Mounir El Allouchi who put his side 5-1 up, before scoring a goal of his two minutes later.
His goal was a fantastic solo effort as he dribbled his way past his markers with ease before slotting the ball past the goalkeeper of Heracles to announce his arrival to the Dutch League.

It’s his first league goal in two years since netting for Roma in their 3-3 draw against Chievo in a Serie a game played on the 6th of January 2016. The 21 year old has battled with injury and fitness issues since finishing as top scorer for Nigeria at the Rio 2016 Olympic where they won bronze.

Etebo's progress continues with outstanding La Liga debut

Oghenekaro Etebo was the standout player at the Estadio Gran Canaria on his La Liga debut for Las Palmas against Malaga in Monday night's relegation battle.

The Nigeria international midfielder stood out in the middle of the park with his dynamic movement, effective ball distribution, tactical discipline and his high energy levels.

Furthermore, he almost capped a memorable debut with a long-range strike, which would have been the icing on the cake after an exceptional performance in the Canary Islanders' 1-0 triumph.
Speaking to the press in the aftermath of completing his six-month loan switch to the Canary Islands-based team from CD Feirense of Portugal, the 22-year-old didn't mince words as to his objectives at La Union Deportiva.
"I'm ready to play, but it all depends on the coach," he told Las Palmas' website. "I'm ready, I'm fit, I did not come to be on the bench, but it all depends on the coach.

"I am comfortable as an extreme. I came to help the team.

"I do not care if I score or if I assist what I want is for my team to get the three points."

A series of young and talented African starlets have made the move to La Liga in recent months, with the likes of Michael Olunga, Emmanuel Boateng and now Etebo making big contributions for modest teams.

In the cases of Olunga and Etebo, both were playing in their home nation's top flight as recently as 2015.
Etebo has regularly caught the eye throughout his career, right from making his professional debut for Warri Wolves in the 2012/13 Nigeria Professional Football League season, and it was only a case of keeping him on the right track and ensuring he remained focused on the bigger picture ahead.

Then a teenager, Etebo dazzled during his debut season in the NPFL.
He scored two hat-tricks on his way to bagging 17 goals, including the first hat-trick of the league season against El-Kanemi Warriors and the fastest hat-trick of the campaign, within 22 first-half minutes, in a 3-1 victory against Wikki Tourists.

By the end of the season, Etebo had achieved the second best goal tally by any player in the debut campaign in Nigeria, with the wonderkid bested only by Ahmed Musa's return of 18 goals in 2010.
Despite experiencing two major setbacks in his young career - failure to make the Super Eagles' 23-man squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship and to complete a transfer to Udinese of Italy in 2014 - Etebo has not been deterred.

Instead, he continued to improve.

He received the Glo wondergoal award for the best goal of the season during the 2014-15 campaign, and made giant strides on the international scene with the U-23 national team, scoring five goals en route to a winner's medal at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
He was ultimately crowned as CAF's Most Promising African Talent in 2015, following an unforgettable breakout year.
A move to Portuguese side Feirense in January 2016 always appeared likely to be a stepping stone to greater things in Europe, and Etebo duly played a critical role as the Azuis da Feira secured promotion.
International recognition duly followed, while Etebo's four-goal showing against Japan at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was one of the most outstanding performances by a player wearing the green of Nigeria in recent years.

For a player who has consistently scored goals in his career regardless of whatever position he found himself, the timing of his temporary switch to a Las Palmas side struggling for goals and form couldn't have been better.

The next couple of weeks and months could be crucial in shaping Etebo's promising career on a bigger stage and in one of the world's major leagues, particularly with massive home games against the giant duo of Barcelona and Real Madrid fast approaching on the horizon.

The journey to the top for Etebo from his humble beginning in Warri, where the locals pride themselves on all-round success, has been a fine demonstration of how hard work and determination can lead to sustained progression.
Expect his move to Las Palmas to represent another key chapter in his climb to the top.

Super-Sub Theophilus Solomon Inspires Omonia Nicosia To Comeback Win On Debut Game



On loan HNK Rijeka forward Theophilus Solomon made his debut for Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia in their comeback 2-1 away win over title contenders Anorthosis Famagusta .
Solomon joined the team on Saturday from Croatian side HNK Rijeka after terminating his loan deal with Serbian side Partizan Belgrade where he spent the first half of the season on loan.

Omonia were trailing Anorthosis 1-0 when the Nigerian was handed his debut, and he didn’t disappoint, as his introduction in the 72nd minute sparked a revival for his team.

Although former Blackburn Rovers striker Matt Derbyshire got both goals for Omonia, Solomon started the move that lead to the goals of the English man in the 85th and 90th minute.

Out of favour Super Eagles midfielder Nosa Igiebor was on for the entire duration of the game for Anorthosis, but the former Real Betis man who joined the team from MLS Side Vancouver Whitecaps few weeks ago couldn’t rescue his side from defeat.

It comes after Nike released all their kits appearing at this summer's major tournament - including England.
With adidas having released their range a while back, the count of 32 countries to have released kits now stands at 20.

But one nation appears to be heads and shoulders above the rest - according to the feedback on Twitter, anyway.

Nigeria's 1994 throwback has got everyone falling in love.
Arsenal star Alex Iwobi has been selected as the nation's poster boy following his 73rd-minute strike in qualifying that sealed a World Cup place for the Super Eagles.

There is so much stuffs about our national identity that needs change.. I know the older generation won't like it.. but let's be realistic.

Besides, our away colour is typically white while the home colour is green.

You don't just wake up one day and change the home and away colours of a country.

In fact you may change the away colour but not the home colour.

Look at footballing nations all over the world , their home Jerseys are a symbol of their football pedigree. Look at England, Holland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Portugal, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, France etc. Even in Africa Egypt, Cameroon, Algeria, Morocco, SA, Zambia, CIV, Mali, Ghana, Guinea, Senegal, Gabon etc. Their jerseys are their identity.

Once you see them on the pitch they are easily recognized.

Pinnick should not in the name of fashion deface our football Identity.

Green is our home Jersey and white away. For the away he can chose black if he wants. But the home Jersey must be our national Green Color.
