I just find it annoying that no one stands up to them on this forum. It makes them feel we all seek what we knw nothing of. They think we don't make research and study and do analysis like they do. But d difference is that we don't rely on logic only we hv powerful intuition that tend to accept more metaphysical knowledge than they allow. Above all, we hv the Holy Spirit.

I have thought of it. My conclusion is that I don't know if there is a God or not. There might be, there might not be. Nothing in the universe (be it the moon, stars, mountains, oceans) tells me that God exists AND his name is yahweh, he wants us to worship him, he sent his son to die for us. When I look up, I see just sky .

How humans came to conclude that God exists and his name is yahweh, he sent his son to died for us, he wants us to obey him, he wanted people to obey the old testament laws then and the new testament laws today etc. is beyond me. Can you give an irrefutable proof of the existence of yahweh?

the reason why there are so many atheist in nairaland is due to the tolerance that Christians and Christianity gives to it.

why don't they do this in Islam section?

anywhere you see Christianity you also see a form of paganism hiding behind it because Christianity tolerates it.

Christianity gives people freedom to choose, and Christianity does not make sense during times of peace, it only gains grounds and expands during times of persecution or war.

During times of war you see it expand and there's love towards one another but during times of peace there's discord, this one says I'm from this church the other says I'm from that church.

thats why God usually punish the isrealite during times of peace because they tend to leave his teachings and LovePeddler after false Gods during peace times.

Only few of them sees their error on time and some are just unnecessary arrogant..... I do not see how a well versed religious fellow with general knowledge will look stupid when engaging the atheist. Most of the religious guys that fall to their intelligence possess little knowledge of their own religion and likewise general knowledge.

where on earth, will he get the stats? How many people are willing to identity themselves as an atheist. And I do not think postmortem can also indicate atheism as the cause of the death. The only evidence the dude can use is the list of prominent people that are actually atheist(well known)and this llist is available online.
