Newmum, Newmum, Newmum! How many times did I call you?

Payslip is a requirement, when it is not available, we do LOE to state why......it says so on the notes you click on to check what you are meant to upload in the employment placeholder.

Infact, reference (in the prescribed format) and payslips are the only required documents for employment records. Things like employment letter, work mail stuff and staff ID are just additional docs we are adding to buttress our 'point' .

Newmum0615:
If you are asking about my work experience documentation, I only added work reference letter from my employer in addition to my supervisor's call card, some work mails, staff ID and nothing more. If they need my payslips, they should ask me.

I rewrote it but my score in listening fell to 6.5. Writing ielts from my location which is australia is much more difficult than writing it in nigeria. And my spouse is in Nigeria

I aced IELTS though using Australian study materials not British ones. You should look for E2 Language and listen to Jay on YouTube.

If you are referring to cost, well I promise you the cost you'll pay for IELTS is cheaper and easier than going through PNP. So give it another shot. And your wife can take hers in Nigeria, then una go add am for your profile. Doesn't matter where she dey.

Okay . We need to retake your own IELTS, if you get at least 8777 in LRWS, then you will have additional 50 points.

With the above score, it is obvious to me that with a little 'better' targeted preparation, you will get the minimum required.

Madam can give you additional points of 20 if she takes the test too, so maybe you both take it. If you get the minimum and she also takes the test, ITA will fall on you sharply.

DrDauda:

I had L7. S.8.5. W. 7. R.9

1.Money orders can be bought from any post office in the US, you will have to send someone (I am surprised you are asking though, if you have spent cumulative of 180 days in the US......)

2. Courier your fingerprint and other form(s) to someone that will help you help you mail the application. You need to check the link on CIC website on US FBI PCC to confirm if it could be sent by regular mail or if it has to be by registered mail.

3. People I know go to police station to do it. It may be better to have a professional do it to avoid stories that touch.

P.S: you need to start early, it takes time.

I really appreciate this. Thank you

Canadianfly:

If I understand you correctly, you are try to do the FBI PCC from Nigeria? To answer your questions:

1) The money order that they accept is usually done in the U.S at the post office or gas station. You are better off filling your card information on the Credit card form, and they'll charge it when they're ready to process your application.

2) I used DHL to send mine. I was sending for hubby and my self so I got two envelopes and sealed our forms separately then put the two envelopes in one DHL Envelope to save cost. So I sent two applications with one DHL transaction. FedEx I found was terrible service.

3) We did our fingerprinting ourselves. Hubby did mine, by holding my fingers and doing it correctly using an ink pad not pen oh, and I did his too. I should also tell you that we sent 6 sets of fingerprint cards each. So 12 in total. I took a cue from bbaby84's experience and advise not to send 1 set, in case they can't lift all the prints properly, they can have 5 more to try grin
I should also advise that when you print the fingerprint card, you should print it on hard paper, like cardboard not regular printing sheets. In fact read the FBI website and follow their advise to the T.

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by happytbaby: 10:36am On Feb 08, 2018
The case is slightly different.

The application is with the school....just for admission, they will not apply for student visa. The only thing they will apply for is the PR, they cannot affect each other.

The person you are talking about was trying to apply for PR and Student visa at the same time. However, I thought they said dual intent is possible....was the school also in Nova Scotia province or outside it?

mrsJustveryOkay:
Please find out well and be sure before you make this move.

I have a personal person whom while waiting/processing student application/visa after gotten admission and paid part of tuition;
got PNP from Nova Scotia.

Both student application and PNP was cancelled.

Do not forget it is the same system, it is on the same cic page you apply for EE and student visa.

I do hope the action would not be seen as trying to circumvent the system.

Please ask as many question as possible on this.

All the best

This issue of ICAN ACA is quite confusing, some got favorable evaluation while some did not, I am planning to do my ECA and really confused now, as I only have ICAN ATS and ICAN ACA (new syllabus). I think it would be better if WES can throw more light on this issue of ICAN ACA evaluation. I hoping to see if anyone has done the evaluation of recent.

GlitteringStar:

The ECA summary for those people who used ICAN and got positive outcome says: "Bachelor's degree (three years)". Read this post and this.

This ECA summary-"Bachelor's degree (three years)" is different from the recent update ("two years of professional study in Accounting" ).

The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).

I no see payslip for here o.

Since you moved the naira equivalent from ur Naira account just highlight that portion on the statement and write an explanation that the money was to purchase dollar from the parrallel market in order to have the POF in one account. If there is any chat beteeen both of you on this you can also attach.

Alternatively, the friend can do a gift deed and since the amount is a not up to 50% of the POF. Shouldn't be much of an issue even if its a friend. But I prefer the first option. Better to say it as it is and attach all the evidence.

Eitherway, there is no need to rush like bigfido said. Just calm down and make sure the application is in order.

@ Glitteringstar, Canadianfly, 40man, macstan, newmum, mumyjaygirls & other Seniors too numerous to mention.

Thank you for your guidance so far.
Got ITA around 11pm last night.
With your guidance, I have been able to gather all required documents b4 ITA except Statement of account.

I have 2 issues/ questions as I want to submit my application if possible tonight or tomorrow.

(1) Kindly send me the specific address the statement of Account is to be addressed to. I wish to get it 2day or 2mro.

(2) I am printing 2 statements, one from my US$ and the other from Naira. The challenge is that, in order to have a unified account for POF, I credited someone Naira expecting him to send me US$4700 to my dorm so as to complete the required funds for family of 5 in US$ & have a single conversion since that was where I had the bulk of funds.

When he sent it, he put the Remark - GIFT AND DONATION, meanwhile, when I sent him naira, I put PAYMENT FOR US$4700.
My challenge is this remark that he put. What can I do about it. He apologised as he said it was the default remark of GTB internet banking but apology cannot salvage this situation knowing fully well that Gift accepted by CIC is mostly from parents or siblings and would require deed statement.

PLEASE HELP A BROTHER, AM TOO CLOSE TO LOSE OUT

Thanks. I appreciate. kiss However, there is no correlation between Express Entry/FSW and School Admission. I applied as an international student and I've been admitted. I will change my status from an international student to a domestic student once I land as a Permanent Resident (I don't need to apply for study permit).

@GlitteringStar

Kindly help with a suggestion. I intend to write a certificate level exams in accounting. The certificate program has four papers but with my BSc, I can claim exemptions for all the four papers and still be awarded the certificate. However, for ECA purpose, if I choose to claim 2 or 3 exemptions and opt to write 2 or 1 paper in the program, will I still get a positive evaluation from WES for a college level certificate?

I await your response and other contributions from the forum.

Thank you.

Na WES fit answer your question ooo. cheesy Kindly contact WES.

School admission is not the same thing as applying for TRV and Study permit. Two different people deal with them.

School admission and acceptance - the school has approved your intent to be their student, either as an international student or local student. When you register for your classes/credits and your tuition is calculated, then one changes their status to PR with the school. Note: some schools won't allow you be enrolled or might ask you to wait for next session. They have slots for international students and slots for local student. My advise to anyone is to make sure he/she can change their status. I have friends who the school no gree them pay local student fee after becoming PR until their program was completed because they took the slot for international student and local student slot was full.

TRV and study permit - you apply to IRCC for visa using your school admission letter. IRCC can deny ones application based on PR application.

Make we no dey confuse ourselves.

Hmmm! What a remark, at the bold info. Let's be careful at the words we use and not water down things outrightly. I think it's better to say for the purpose of gaining additional point on this EE exercise. Atleast the work experience will be very useful if and when she gets to Canada. Some words really cut deep into some people. My 2 kobo.

No don't raise CSE for it. If they need it they will ask and you submit. London has a reputation for asking irrelevant stuff and documents already submitted. It's their method to delay applications.

Thank you for your reply.

I will hold on as advised and repeatedly.

bigfido:

Hi, congratulations on your ITA. I am happy for you but i want to advise you. Firstly, don't be in a rush to submit your application whether you have gathered all documents or not. take your time to cross the Ts. I don't know why i decided to tell you this though. Just be patient. If possible review your application severally before you submit. On the issue of the money paid into your account, submit your statement the way it is. I think you will be fine. what they usually look out for is a huge sum of money making up a good chunk of your POF just after you get your ITA and in this case, i think $4,700 is negligible compared to how much was in the account before. Please don't rush to submit. go over and over your application before you submit. It will end in praises
