Do You Really Need To Know Technical Analysis?

Just of recent, I received phone calls from few persons regarding technical analysis. However, I understand that they don't know much about it because neither have they attended my seminar nor bought any of my previous materials but that is still fine because I will be having a Seminar on the *24th of February on Technical Analysis for Amateurs and Professionals.*

Now back to our conversation, after the phone call, I will never assume anything again which why I want to discuss the advantages of learning and practicing technical analysis.

Technical analysis is the study of price charts and basically any information that can be compiled from them, such as volume analysis, cycles, trends and statistics. Technical analysis is used to forecast price movements, as well as provide methods of entry and exits from trades. If you are new to trading, here are some of the advantages of technical analysis.

*1. Provides All Current Information.*

*2. It helps determine price moves in trends* That is, technical analysis is used to isolate trending and non-trending periods.

*3. Repetition:* Technical analysis is largely based on uncovering common patterns, finding those patterns again and using them to trade. This doesn’t mean that history repeats exactly though.

*4.Timing and Precision:* A major advantage of technical analysis is that it provides you with ways to “time” your trades.

NSE TEMPORARY PULLBACK LIKELY TO END HERE...
Hello forumite, nice to be back.

Looking at the current market situation, the rally is having a short breath and the pullback is more likely to end where I highlighted in the chart below and if smart monies decide, it can end at the dotted line, but more likely @ the highlighted zone.

Here for example, you are Ambrose Omordion in another forum https://www.nairaland.com/4224038/suppliers-seafood-frozen-food-poultry, you call yourself Joyce and so on. If advertising for others, let people know and it will help your integrity. I'm just curious to know who I will be attending his/her seminar before "given my precious time out"

There is a support at its current level and another at the dotted line. What made you think the area highlighted would be the likely support? Fibonacci? Help me, I'm trying to learn sir.

Russia or the Saudis should just do something to save Brent. They should hold talks or something, only that, being in the news will turn Brent around.

At the current price judged against the latest quarterly result FIDSON's PE ratio is hovering around 10 which appears too high to me.

Yeah, it looks good for the medium to long term considering their expansion by way of the new production plant which obviously will impact much on their top and bottom lines. The future EPS may skyrocket easily considering their outstanding shares of just 1.5bn. I have been following the stock too.

Good observation. But the Ambrose Omordion that I know was formerly with Abayomi Obabolujo and writes for stockswatch magazine then.

...like most stocks, ETI is also pulling back, and might likely come down to around 18.5

What's the deal on Wemma Bank , am very heavy here but the thing just they go down like London Bridge. Any analysis on this.

Heavy on Wema? What was the deal when you bought accumulated it? At the risk of appearing forward, I'd like to suggest you bail out if Wema benefits from any coming rally.
I hope you bought very low. It's a long road ahead for this bank except there is a significant change in the circumstance of this bank (none of which is in the public domain).
You have taken a very very high risk in my opinion.
